Hello there Patrons!

We're back with a 100% down with TESTICLE HEAD!

We're loving the complex issues that are being brought to bear by focusing on the clones and their role in the conflict!

Does the idea of your team only being as good as your slowest, dumbest most unvaccinated member reading too real in the Post-Covid Era?

Are the cadets abelist as well?

And WE SEE THE SEEDS OF THE BAD BATCH PLANTED IN THIS EPISODE!!!

CLONE WARS E003 Full & Uncut REACTION!

Comments

I’m going to throw out that Master Chief is a real rank for the Navy. Now, for a mercenary contractor to get the rank Master Chief, ehhh, it’s Star Wars. But I read it as Master Chief Bric Testicleface

Jack Aistrup

To be fair this is also building off a series of movies and a whole lot of other Star Wars stuff so i dont think is that disingenuous to critize that. this has always been a critique of star wars in general. i mean even the last jedi got all that backslash from nerds because they didnt like the message of "maybe war and fighting isnt the final answer to everything", amongst other things but that was one of the main points of contempt from the fandom. "Not killing what we hate, but saving what we love". That was a great line, but many star wars fans had a problem with that messaging... So i think Morgans right.

Michelle

It may be a little disingenuous to compare the character and story development of 60+ episodes of ATLA to 3 episodes of Clone Wars and only one episode of these characters. Sokka was pretty damn problematic in the first few episodes, but is beloved by the end of the show. Also the final shot of them becoming faceless drones in the industrial war machine is very intentional. Having them all lined up evoking imagery of Stormtroopers is very much supposed to make you question the meaning of it all.

Edina Lewis

it's not exclusively fascist to line up in rows in an army. pretty sure most armies are organized this way.

Mathies

yeah 100% the clones continue to distinguish themselves and become more "individual", so you'll start to tell them apart eventually (I've seen this before and I can't tell these early guys apart half the time). Also as far as the messaging goes, I don't think the intent was really to tell kids that they should strive to go and die in war. Most of star wars is a commentary on Imperialism and its effects. Don't worry though because it DEFINITELY dives into the ugly side of things later....

Aidan Pullen

Noooooo

Sean TankTop

wtf i can't believe you guys couldn't tell hevy and cutup were different people, i'm 23 and i've been watching this show since i was 11, worst reactors ever grrr

Mark Nutz

Don't worry about not telling the clones apart I mean come on their clones. Your real crime was mentioning Al-G Rhythm. That one is going to be a lot harder to forgive lol.

Nick Z

but anyway political analysis aside that was lots of fun guys, i see that morgan joined sean in the sleeveless club too!

Michelle

i agree with morgan in that the messaging in star wars is kinda weird and fuck'd up sometimes lol. especially since so many different people had have their say in it so that just adds to the message always being messy. and it being an old property trying to re-invent itself every couple of decades but still trying to uphold and appeal to it's original aesthetic also adds to mixed signals.

Michelle

FIXED!!! Just refresh!!
