That’s fair. They’ve been doing nothing but expanding the universe with characters, having a small subplot of something happen, hint at a larger plot and moving on. The story needs to constrict now, and refocus on a only a few things and nail them.

2020-11-29 02:14:21 +0000 UTCPart of me has this terrible fear that Mando might repeat Rise of Skywalker's mistakes: A new villain (Snoke/Gideon) isn't being received like gangbusters and the suits get scared, so they hastily brush them off in favor of a cannon character (Palpatine/Thrawn) who was "in control all along." I trust Dave Filoni, but after the Cloning Blues of last episode and the Thrawn-drop here, I'm a little bit nervous.
