Yeah that was something we noticed that they get to sorta have their cake and eat it too. Like, the super old as 2005 bullshit line about “soft ass Millennials” and now Gen Z stuff is fucking lame and old hat and they sorta play it that way but..... do they? I do think the show handles that aspect way better

2021-01-27 04:16:11 +0000 UTCoh wow you guys just put the whole first season like that? thats great. but ill say rewatching this first season with you all really makes me not like it so much. like im 21 and trans and it just feels like it makes just a lil too many mean spirited comments about "PC Culture" or how sensible gen z's are and stuff. Like I really like this show and i get they critize gen X's and nostalgia too but, it definetley gets better at handling that as it goes along. Thats why season 3 is my favorite so far.
