btw sorry for bein annoyin and over explaining this i just dont want you to be expecting levi to play into this whole azumabito thing cause he has nothin to do with it, its Mikasa's thing. or to think theres a plot here cause there really isnt.

2022-08-12 01:29:03 +0000 UTCyea its easy to miss stuff on a first view tbh but this one just stands out because you know, we already know the ackerman backstory from kenny and so on and no other ackerman looks asian like mikasa, not levi and certainly not kenny. so why would they now be japanese all of sudden lol. so yeah its another thing, mikasa is half ackerman and half azumabito, IE, half german half japanese, or the AoT world equivalent to that.

In the first episode of season 3 he says his main motivation is killing the beast titan. Most people forget by now because it's a bit of a gap. So Eren siding with Zeke over the crew is a huge betrayal for him on a personal level.

Levi and the Ackermans are Not Asian, otherwise it would have been pointed out sooner. And they even say that the clan's name is the "Azumabito" clan, why would there be a fantasy Japan clan named Ackerman lol? I know its your first time viewing guys but everyone who was reading the manga was able to pick that up immediately since u know, they are asian and mikasa is the Only asian within the walls. But yes Mikasa is a descendant of the shogun of Hizuru that got stranded on the walls on her mother's side and an Ackerman on her dad's, so shes double special. Honestly makes sense that two rare and persecuted people would prolly end up together too so its not that far-fetched.

2022-08-10 21:39:39 +0000 UTCyeah when it comes to anime, due to different cultural norms in japan sex and romance are just different. so you will have shows that have all the pervy, fanservicey stuff like you saw a bit of that on Overlord. Theres a lot of that in less serious animes, and yet still, something like a kiss, especially a casual kiss is like, not something you'd often see. They tend to save that for the very end of a show or at least a very long time. I think in the entire history of Dragon Ball, Goku kissed his wife once and it was obscured and not even canon to the manga. That was back in the 90's of course and things have change, but still you wont see much smooching in anime. Giant titties flopping everywhere and other weird shit yes but the more intimate stuff is very rare. Chainsaw Man, which yall will see soon, is kind of a norm breaker in that in does do all this stuff that other anime are too chaste to do.
