Attack on Titan S4x11 Full & Uncut Reaction!

Hey hey, Patrons!

Aaaand we're back for another Attack on Titan episode!

This week, we got Gabi continuing her attempt to be the world's best little Pick-Me Eldian Girl while Falco is trying to keep the wheels on the art- and it's frustrating to watch!

Floch the Fucker starts to really come into full view here and whether you agree with him or not, like all fanatics, he's an insufferable turd.

NOT TO MENTION, one of the most chilling and powerful scenes this show has ever had with Kaya, Falco, and Gabi and we are near tears by its end.

AND WE GET MAYBE THE BEST HORSE CAMEO EVER!

Follow this exclusive link to hang!

Hope y'all have a lovely weekend and stay tuned for some Korra and Stranger Things reactions next week!

I like when Gabi asks Falco about Zeke being a traitor he just keeps quiet and doesn't have anything to say about it, his own uncle was a 'traitor' and he probably loved him, even though he was forced to become a warrior because of it.

Sasha's death and how much it has it has impacted the latter half of the shows storytelling and ideas makes me wonder what it would of been like if the writer had killed her off earlier like he intended, I assume the themes and ideas would've still of been preserved but maybe other characters would have seen the chopping block or gotten more development as a result. Either way I'm glad they keep Sasha for as long as they did.

Ganjaman

I love how this show killed Sasha, but they gave her death so much meaning that it resonates a lot of episodes afterwards, and is used to frame a lot of the conflicts and inciting incidents. She was the most innocent one, the light of the show, and killing her was like killing the levity of the show. Her death was the final nail in the coffin in the breaking of the Survey Corp's trust in Eren. Her death in the hands of Gabi, and then later Gabi being sheltered and fed by her family, and covered for by Kaya and forced to face the flaws in her indoctrinated logic by Kaya, it's a stroke of genius writing. Gabi's in deep and it's taking all these interactions to dig her out. There's still that restaurant they mentioned in the episode owned by a Marleyan. Any guesses who that chef is? Falco's miles ahead of her in accepting the reality of their situation, because he's a much less hateful person. In fact, his whole motivation for being a warrior candidate is to save the one he loves from being cursed with titan powers. That's why he's quicker to realize the Eldians might not be demons. He started realizing it when Eren and Reiner met behind Willy Tybur's stage. So now he has to keep stopping Gabi from acting rashly long enough for her to catch up to his paradigm shift.

Patrick Wotton

Honestly, Gabi's whole arc is so well done. Essentially her whole worldview is being turned upside down. The fact that she mirrors Eren's character is also so good.

Also, it looks like you may have mistitled the video on Youtube.

Let me just say that throughout this show I have really enjoyed watching your guys' reactions, jokes and all. Now I haven't exactly listened to all of your post episode discussions, and while there have been times where I've thought to myself, oh I wish they would have picked up on this or that (just gives an excuse for a rewatch), there are more than a few episodes that I will always make a point of listening to what you a reactor can come away with. I think what I've found is that these episodes tend to be ones in which really speak to the themes and questions posed throughout and across a show's different seasons, this episode being a poignant example. Hearing someone, as you have here, express multiple understandings of such an otherwise insignificant scene, and then connect how it can be so precisely, and yet indirectly, related to what is happening in the rest of the episode, and even still look for how the show was doing the same thing seasons ago, really speaks to your investment and earnest desire to understand what is being presented to you. So I guess this is all to say that I very much enjoyed your reaction and discussion and am glad I've stuck with you through this show.

To address the bit in the beginning about what hange said with eren. She said β€œecchi” which means being perverted and the called him β€œbaka” which we all know means fool. I have no idea where your subtitles got whippersnapper from. She knows it wasn’t a perverted thing eren was doing, it was to diffuse the tension and get out of that situation. She’s lord commander of the nights wa…. Scouts now and had to kind of save face for being threatened like that.

Ahh this is a fun episode, can't wait to watch y'all react to it when I have time!
