Yeah fork is also just fork in Japanese haha. I learned that solely bc I’m stationed out here. But yes a lot of words are actually the same as English. Another great reaction. Love you guys.

2021-12-21 22:18:45 +0000 UTCto answer morgans questions, yes in modern japanese there are certain words that are just english words, usually because the item or concept was introduced to them via england or america. they also have a couple of portuguese words in there as portugal was one of the first non-asian nations to trade with them.
