what sucks even more is that levi gave petra's patch to the soldier, not ivan's. also if you remember in episode 14, right after eren plugged the rock in the hole, it was showing how different citizens of each wall were reacting to a titan siding with humanity. basically knowing a person could turn into a titan. people in the interior, which is the more wealthy, were worried if the plan failed more people would come into their city and cause a food shortage. while in wall rose, the middle of the two, were hopeful to see if eren would be able to take back Wall Maria and be "their savior."
