I haven't read the manga but I wonder if maybe that's the reason S3P1 is my least favourite arc of the series? I need to read the manga at some point

2022-04-16 18:39:10 +0000 UTCOne thing about this season (particularly the first half) is that they did A LOT of streamlining compared to the manga. Many people were turned off, ostensibly because there weren't as many gory titan scenes. As a response, the anime cut things out, sped some things up, and combined certain tings as well (guided by Isayama himself, I heard). You guys will love this season though because there are a lot more questions answered.

So I wont spoilt it but yeah just, ignore that. Again, its really more for symbolism and aesthetic.
