Seriously though, this might be the first time we sorta wished the action elements of this show took a bit more of a backseat to the story and intrigue elements of this story!
We finally get the reunion of Gerry and Yen and its a pretty layered and heavy bit of drama!
Also, the LOGAN vibes are through the roof with this episode as this lovely, a-political community AND THEN OF COURSE they nearly burn it to the ground!
FireScarface is back and we're like CAN WE GET SOME MOAR GARDEN WALKS PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
Also, we lament the death of Roach and how fucking terribly handled that moment read to us.
We go in pretty hard on the scene and how IF WE ARE INDEED GOING TO KILL THIS HORSE to not make it a confusing afterthought. Give Roachy her flowers with a hero moment and a Boromir moment or something right?

i dont remember it very well, but im pretty sure geralt names all of his horses Roach. So yeah "Roach" has been killed or lost before. I think as far as the games go he's had the same one for years, but in the books I think they might be different roaches. But you are right that was just badly executed tbh.
