Yes. I think media is starting to catch to more of the accuracy to some mental illnesses. Ofcourse they still dramatise it but they seem to be putting a bit more effort into it.

2022-04-29 06:47:23 +0000 UTCAs someone that works in a trauma-centered environment and knows at least a little about DID through my job, it was actually really refreshing to show this kind of scene to express how alters are developed and the lasting effects of trauma on the mind and body like that. Regardless of the magic, super heroes, and likely exaggerated representation of the condition.

The delivery of him telling Steven that he got to remember his mum as someone that loved him, the bitterness and sadness was palpable.
