Back on one with Death Note and this week's episode is a dark, damn doozy.
We're over here still reeling from the death of Ray Pemper but now we have a new figure in this story and FINALLY GET EYES ON L and he is......
a lil' off, let's put it. But we're intrigued af.
To repair a bit of trust he severed with the Japanese authorities, L is now a full-stop, onscreen character and he is a weird lil' guy.
We, unfortunately, get really invested in Ellie's storyline as an outlier investigator and a huge curveball with some emotional stakes in the story which ends up amounting to.....
well, you know.
