sometimes people really forget that PTSD isnt automatically gone when you physically recover. the poison being out isn't gonna get rid of the PTSD. I really appreciate the show going this route where it takes effort to recover from this.

I love when y’all talk about Drag Race - would y’all consider reacting to it? Like, when new seasons come out?

Yep it's sad to watch but it's obvious that her trauma wasn't just physical. Sometimes you can suppress your trauma and become functional in the world, but when something else happens, it can make it all come back if the strain in your life is too much. It's sad to see Korra still struggling, but its realistic. A pep talk from Katara isn't really gonna fix Korra. Not even a hundred. It can take a long ass time to work through something like a near death experience and being crippled for 3 years.

The metal wasn't the only thing poisoning Korra. I'm so glad her PTSD wasn't just a simple fix. It takes serious time and effort to overcome, and sometimes you fail. And that's okay.
