We're back in it with the PEN-ULTIMATE episode of Rings of Power and we are digging some elements of this episode, but coming off of the last WILD ep this one catches us a touch underwhelming.
There's Harfoots finally fucking arriving, asking the Stranger to help with the tree, not watching their stupid fucking kids, and then telling him to fuck off!
Who are these weird witch guys and gals?
The emotion brought to bear with the Durin and Elrond storyline continues to be the shining light in this show!
And...... did a literal leaf wake the Balrog of Morgoth? We think it's supposed to be symbolic but was a touch confusing.
Also, thanks show.... we def needed that spelled out for us.

When Elrond says “We will lose our immortal souls” it’s worse than dying a mortal death. They become phantoms, ghosts, voiceless, formless, unseen beings that will make people call an exorcist than have a chat with till the end of the world. The worst of it is that they’ll be fully aware of it as said shadows in the corner of your eye. The elves still have work to do in Middle Earth, but they can’t do that as ghosts. They need the immortality just a little Bit longer.
