It's our FIRMLY HELD belief thate a first time watching is better served by the theatrical editons. (I legit prefer the theaterical version of Fellowship and Return, Two Towers is the best served by EEs of these films FULL STOP)! They're lean they're focused, they won a shit-billion awards and found their way to hearts of the world, please don't freak out, Abe still gets to have his EE experiences, which is HOW WE ALL EXPERIENCED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! ****

ahhh I like both Extended and Theatrical. I think all of the Shire stuff from Fellowship works better in extended, the rest can do with theatrical

2023-12-26 03:22:49 +0000 UTCDid not need another reason to rewatch LotR, but that's never stopped me before. So happy to see Abe watching and coming to appreciate LotR for what it is. Obviously he already knows a lot of the different elements and how highly people regard the trilogy, but seeing him experience the story, the characters, cinematography, music, and how it all comes together is fantastic. As much as any other piece of media, I so wish I could watch LotR again for the first time. Short of that, seeing someone else have get that experience is a great gift. I wouldn't ordinarily include this in a comment, because I know and enjoy your guys' vibe and how you like to have fun with a reaction, but you might think about holding onto a joke until after particular scenes finish. I only say this because it feels like Abe is really trying to take in what he's seeing and it just gives him a first opportunity to make comments or ask about things. Idk, you guys can probably ignore me. But regardless, I can't wait for you guys to upload The Two Towers.

As always I enjoy yalls commentary it was just rough to time sync through the whole movie and i had to give up halfway through. All said I hope you enjoy your holidays and still an avid fan
