At the end of Rebels, the space whales took Thrawn and Ezra so far no ship with hyper drive could reach them. Since the space whales travel far, they are gonna use the space cock ring to fit a space whale so they could reach them lol

He basically disowns his son on that show for joining Leia because he thought she was an extremist and the First Order wasn't a problem. He's not a plant just an asshole.
