I've heard good things, but unlike the anime version which requires consulting a "filler guide" to know which of its 1000+ episodes you can safely skip without missing anything important, it seems like they really trimmed the fat down in this adaptation (and the creator was heavily involved with this one, unlike the live action Bebop abomination)
