We're back, sorry for the hold up but HOLY SHIT WE'RE IN Season 4 you guys!
And to ring in the occasion for the upcoming wedding and FELLOW PEDRO SUPERFAN we had one of our most glamorous Watchers, it's Jenilea!
Cuase it's all gonna work out totally fine, right?
To be fair, it is a HELL of a debut! The bi-sexual iconic-ness, the seething rage, the indellible charm - the Pedro of it all. One of the finest piece of casting in all of TV and film in a show already SILLY with iconic castings.
But tons more stuff abounds! Married life is pretty terrible for Sansa and Tyrion.
Damn if he does damned if he doesn't Jon is back at the Wall and pube-headed Alistor Thorne thinks him a traitor!
And we have OUR FAVE MURDER DUO OF ALL TIME - Arya and the Hound and holy shit is her getting needle back one of the most satisfying moments in this show!

2024-03-12 20:35:53 +0000 UTCI love the opening with Tywin melting down Ice and then throwing the wolf pelt onto the fire. You might want to remind Angel that the very first scene with Tywin, back in Season One, had him skinning a stag, the sigil of House Baratheon, whom the Lannisters got rid of through killing King Robert and defeating Stannis. Stannis of course, had already removed the other Baratheon, Renly as any type of potential threat. Now you have Tywin burning the sigil of House Stark after the Red Wedding. You could show Angel the deleted scene of Tywin and Pycelle, where Pycelle interrupts Tywin while he is fishing. I believe it is a deleted scene from Season Four. Tywin asks Pycelle to take a big pile of fish he has caught to the kitchen, so they can be cooked for his dinner. I love how they have these three scenes of Tywin destroying the representations of Houses Baratheon, Stark and Tully! Other great call backs in this episode are the scene of Jamie and Tywin, which is shot in a very similar way to the scene of Tyrion and Tywin from when Tyrion asked Tywin to recognize him officially as the heir to Casterly Rock. Both scenes end with Tywin being exceptionally cruel to both of his sons as they storm out of the Hand of the King’s solar. And then there is the final scene of this episode, where Arya re-enacts Lommy’s murder word for word. The title of this episode is Two Swords, and like many good episode titles, it could be interpreted to mean more than one thing. Are the Two Swords the ones Tywin made out of Ice? Or are the Two Swords Ice and Needle? Syrio referred to Arya in Season One as a sword. So another way to consider the Two Swords of this episode, is to say that it refers to Arya and the Hound. It reminds me of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Two Towers. There are many answers to the question which towers are the Two Towers. And the various answers are each valid in there own way. The last thing I want to share is that since Angel finds the Hound attractive, you guys should look up these old Scottish Oatmeal ads that Rory McCann used to make. I’m pretty sure they have him dressed in a kilt and climbing up a ladder to get down a canister of oatmeal from the shelf in a little grocery store. They show a very young and handsome Rory McCann, without the crazy Hound makeup. It remains among the top of the list of GOT episodes for me. This is going to be a fun season of episodes to watch Angel react to!🔥⚔️
