For me, the whole episode being focused on Spike and putting him through the ringer only for him to drop the iconic "whatever happens, happens" line was super cathartic and honestly gave me a new perspective on anxiety, which I was really struggling with when I watched it. This episode is also super good to rewatch once you know where it's going and can appreciate the journey more, it's definitely confusing on first watch. Love ur guys videos and excited to see the last few Bebop reactions!

2024-04-14 04:15:51 +0000 UTCSomeone on Reddit pointed out that Cowboy Bebop predicted how the space shuttle Columbia failed. The characters called out that the heat shield tiles were falling off prior to reentry (from rescuing Spike) and that would likely cause the shuttle to be destroyed if they entered the atmosphere. In a simplified version the show got it right. Show was in 1998, almost 5 years prior to the disaster.
