2025-08-23 09:25:48 +0000 UTCLol this was actually so good till about halfway, setting up shooter as the villain (whose maniacal acting is fucking amazing and made me lol) and having the Jacobim Mugatu esque character was great but it didn't seem to really gel the plot together to 'save the spirit of golf' like they were going for. Also yeah, wasn't really a fan of having all those golfers there who acted like planks of wood. Think they just tried to pack too much into it when they actually had all the ingredients for a good movie. I imagine it was just a passion project for Adam Sandler considering his big Netflix successes, they were like "fuck it, do what you want."
