I, Sean, wrote this into our latest Agatha drop, but wanted to send this to everyone.
As we imagine you might be, we're a bit shell-shocked over here, what with our country's Thanos winning the election last night.
Our reactions and what we do over here can offer a bit of an escape and we're happy to provide it, however, even standing as cynical as we are at this moment, like a lot characters in the stories that resonate, there's reason for despair but not for giving up.
Which we will never do.
Right now, focus on simple things.
Take a walk without your phone.
Start a new book.
Get some chores done you've been putting off.
Listen to some comfort music or an old movie.
Visit friends.
Take your care of yourself and of those around you.
Rest. Grieve. Make sure you and your people are good.
And then we start again and work to protect those that they mean to harm.

But things like this, the overflowing love and care I've seen from many communities in the wake of this time of uncertainty has inspired me not to give up hope. We're all still here and we'll keep fighting hard for each other no matter what. Compassion and mutual aide and care and then rolling up our sleeves and getting to work on making bigger change when we're ready is going to get us all through this.

Even as someone not that directly affected by most of the worst potential consequences it really feels devastating, and I wouldn’t pretend to understand how much worse it feels for others. Being involved in healthcare, and some focus on mental and health and public health, really also appreciate when help resources are included. I hope they help, there really are resources out there it’s worth reaching out to. It’s good to see it acknowledged, especially with how much “content creators” can feel pressure to avoid dark things like this for a variety of reasons, some I’d call better than others. From the rest of you all’s channel I can’t say it’s surprising from you, though, and that reflects very well.
