We're back up in them Piltover Guts with the 2nd and FINAL season of Arcane!
Although we're certain we'll be getting more Leauge of Legends series in the future, we're already like ... awwww, don't go away Arcane!
But we're back, sifting through the wreckage of Jinx's bomb and we are SHOCKED that Jace and Mel survived!
We basically stay entirely in Piltover, and while its good, we do PINE to get back underground and we get there in next episode!
And good lord is that Military War Mommy EVER THE ONE BEHIND THE BIG Attack at the end!?
Very excited to see where this goes!

Buut the Enforcers only used batons, the pokeball thingies and normal Rifles until Silko developed the Shimmer-Chemtank guys. The first time Piltower employed Hextech as weapons was during the Raid on the shimmer factory, where one civilian died in the "crossfire" (I mean the kid was the son of the chembaroness and more than likely in a supervising position on the top floor). Afterwards (from an outside perpective) Zaun just 9/11t Piltower and then attacked the funeral service. I dont think gauntlets and hammer count as WMDs too

The new cutepie cop, Maddie, wasn't wearing the skirt, she was in cool trousers tucked into her cute little jackboots. The woman who attacked the memorial is Rennie, the chemlord whose son was killed when Vi and Jayce attacked that shimmer refinery in Ssn1. I really dig the writers have a lot fo payoffs like teh fact that Rennie is stopped by a blast from Jayce's hammer just like Jayce did to her son. The Kiramman key scene was showing that their family are the ones that built the ventilation system that pumps the toxic fumes from the lower city, out of both Piltover and Zaun, but obviously the lower city is still screwed over by it. Singed is the scientist that helped develop shimmer with Silco. He was a mentor to Viktor and used to be a colleague from Heimerdingers tech college. He has a penchant for experimenting on animals like teh big How to Train Your Dragon looking lizard (Rio) that is basically the origin of the shimmer. I can tell y'all have been reading comment sections on the trailers or on your own uploads because as far as season 1 goes, Vander is dead. But LoL- lore people have been connectiing dots from the teaser about Singed using Vander's remains as part of creating a new creature. A creature that is popular champion in league but his game lore is nothing to do with Vander as far as I know. I think they are going to retcon it thatto somehow being Vander just to rip our hearts out all over again. It will be rad. They fill in the blanks for you as you go but the recap of season 1 Netflix uploaded is a good catch up if, unlike freaks like me, you haven't watched it since it aired. I haven't stopped watching this show and reactions to it since it ended. Your reactions to Arcane are why I am a premium streamium homie to this day.

2024-11-13 00:11:17 +0000 UTCThe shield guy is new. They definitely added him because he has the vibes. I also think there's something more going on with Mel and Jayce surviving. The rocket was going *right* for Mel and she was fine too, and she handwaved Jayce's puzzlement about that *real* quick.

EDIT: To clarify, I'm currently referring to using hextech weapons against civilians. Like that's why chemtech is even a thing. The undercity folk had to innovate their own WMDs in order to compete with hextech. As always, "MORE GUNS!" is never the answer.
