I've been rewatching season 7, and especially 8.. to see if i've still got hate for how it ended. It's been cool af, watching it with you and Angel. Watching him experience GOT for the first time, reminds my old ass of me. LOL

2025-05-23 04:09:08 +0000 UTCi liked what they were trying to go for with the almost monochromatic darkness but they did go a bit overboard and it makes many of the scenes so hard to read. It's a good episode though. Jorah was a such a G, I wish he had gotten a happy ending somehow but I also feel like he would have been happy with this death. Same for Theon; he had a really solid arc and it's cool that he got to redeem himself the betrayal of his real family. He died saving his how and his family. Fuck Sam for real. Ed didn't deserve that death. Bella Ramsey's Lady Mormont was so good they brought them back because everyone fell in love with the character. It ws dope that she killed a Giant on the way out but looked so dope as as Wight, I wasn't mad about it. Last 2 seasons were way too rushed and it breaks internal consistency. Sean nails that observation that they spent forced us to fill in the gaps too much to the point where it breaks out immersion basically. Every re-watch I care a little less and just enjoy revisiting the world and characters but the weaknesses are too obvious to ignore.
