Invincible S3x7 Full Reaction!

Hey hey Patrons!

We're back with the PENULTIMATE Episode of Season 3 of Invincible!

This ep is FAST moving, almost a bit too fast if we're being honest, but HARD HITTING!

Everyone's in on this fight, all the Gaurdians, all the Marks, and all Donalds (Seriously at this point give us like a dozen Donalds).

Some crazy implications with the Multi-Marks but again, the weird pacing of this episode and season as a whole has felt a touch rushed and has sorta stunted story elements that could have a lot more impact!

Also, we were promised more Angstrom and we didn't get nearly enough! Sterling K. Brown crushes this role so hard!

Severance drops shortly! Vinland tomorrow! GoT on Sunday!

really? I think its so uneven and underwritten in certain areas this season comparatively. All of Allen dialogue is literally "we've become friends, tho you're too emoitonally closed off to admit it". As opposed to having even a single other scene with them in the prision relating to one another. We've moved nothing about decoding the story book to figure out who can fight Viltrumites. This show has been so aggressively obvious in laying out character motivation via dialogue its been wild. Our bit with Angstrom is not that we need more obvious dialogue. We wanted literal more real estate with this character. until this ep, he was just a cliffanger machine. And in this, I need them to hate you cause you're a bad guy. How do we go from "I will not build me utopia with blood." to cackling like a Scooby Doo villian. There's so much we could bringing with this character. Like some of the other Marks, does he run into a version of himself that is like "hey this isn't worth it." This show is good enough, we've seen it excel with material like this. Like, honestly fuck the stupid Dragon guy Prison crap and give us more time with Nolan/Allen and Angstrom and the Mecha-Hellraisers. I need more time with this character as the ideas are so interesting and they feel undercooked and thread-bare. I think S2 feels lesser in peoples minds as we had to watch it in 2 chunks and it lost momentum, but something has been off with the pacing of this season like crazy. Not that you're wrong, just interesting that they things we're not really getting with this season are what some are saying it's strengths are and vice versa. Anyway, have a good weekend!

I honestly don't get the nitpicks. I find it more coherent than season 2 which I did like but this is a lot more engaging to me. This adaptation is a lot better than most animes where they scream what they think or describe what they just did now that's a bad adaptation! That's not functioning as a good animated show. Invincible functions well as an animated show they are doing a love letter to the comic but not including all of the stuff that doesn't fit a show like describing stuff, anime! Lol

Do want to know something hilarious? Omni-Mark in the comics died from a hero who uses yo-yos during this event, he got strangled by a godamn yo-yo.
