May Progress Report (8th 2018)

Just to keep my investors apprised of progress: I have released CoC to the public and it is DONE.  I have a new computer being built to make my models faster so I can get my projects to you quicker while maintaining the level of professionalism you expect (and rightly so) for your money.

Cereborg: Inception: You may have noticed that Cereborgs won the poll by a nose, so it shall be the next project to be finished.  I have spent the last week, whenever I was not at work or sleeping, building all the models from the introduction.  Starting tomorrow, I shall redo all the original scenes currently available, and I do not expect it to take too long.  Then I shall begin on Chap 2.

The idea for this novel, with help from BlankSubroutine, is that you shall be given three versions of the same story, as in the introduction.  Each from the view of the three main characters.  However, though it will appear somewhat linear, and I spect to make a few bad ends sprinkled about- Blank is helping me make random events generate as you read.  That means you might read chapter 2 a couple of times before you even see all the possible fights.  I think it works very well for this tale, because depending on the character, I want to have different events trigger.

Howard Wyatt- Cerebrum is actually trying to eliminate or infect Howard.  This means his random events will be fights between him and the forces of Cerebrum.  Each chapter will see these encounters become harder, but Howard is resourceful, and knowing that chap, he shall find ways of evening the playing field!  (Main attribute: Health)

Chieko Naru- Cerebrum wants her alive at all costs, so with her, the random events will likely be puzzle solving and avoiding hypnotic traps.  (Main attribute: Free Will)

Emily Harbrook- Cerebrum first infected Emily, so on this path you shall play as a Cereborg attempting to create as much havoc for Howard to fight through as possible.  The random fights here cannot be lost- there is no Bad End for Emily, because she already met hers.  Instead, you will be randomly encountering humans and needing to convert them into Cereborg Technology!

I am going to attempt to keep moving at my usual pace, hopefully releasing an entire chapter (or in this case three- one for each) per month.  Though, keep in mind for the first one, it might take a bit longer as I get the programming and variables in place, and redo the intro with my 3D models to keep everything consistent in the project.  Once the programming is working, it shan't slow me down for the next chapters because I can copy and paste it, and change whatever the encounters will be for that level of the complex).
