Progress Report (July 26th 2018)

C:I - I have released the three Chapter 2's to my highest patron's and it is trickling down.  I am trying to do a few little tweaks and such, but I should be starting to work on the Chapter 3's soon.  My attention, for the next week or so, is turned towards Factions.

Factions - I have spent the last couple of days planning the art and initiating the first actual game assets based on the poll currently running.  Thus, I have been following the top three- Lilin Demons, Cereborgs, and the Invaders.  Blank and I discussed how we would do the money, and as of the moment, we came to an agreement that I will be paying him as contracted during development.  So, to help everyone understand my situation and being as transparent as I have always been to you, my investors, I will explain my perspective.

Blank is programming the demo right now.  It will be a 'proof of concept'.  That means, it will be extremely basic, but will give everyone an idea of what we are wanting to create.  As I mentioned a year ago, Blank had this idea for a game, but wanted to find a good setting or intellectual property to put it in, and the Anaxverse worked well for it.  Here we are now.  This is the most pertinent part though- if the demo releases, and my Patreon does not surge or increase enough for me to pay Blank (remember, this is my only income now), then, I will not be able to maintain the creation thereof.  I have already spent thousands of dollars on music and assets, and to pay a programmer will cost even more (due to my current 1k amount/month I cannot afford to buy more musical rights at the moment either).

So, once the demo release in likely late August, I will see the community response.  If you end up liking Factions, and want to help me make it, then on the hypnopics, TF Games, and other forums I post my projects on- PLEASE speak up and promote for me.  It only takes a moment to write a sentence or two, and if others see positive support, they may be more likely to invest in me as well.  Ultimately, I am, as ever, limited solely because of finances and not ambition or passion- of which I have infinite amounts in regards to my projects!  (As can be seen over my years of production).

General News- Not really much to report.  I spend all day at my computer now, writing, creating and rendering- I love every second of it!  Thank you for helping me make this possible!  As always please give me feedback or ask me any questions you have!
