Weekly Progress Report (March 13th 2020)

D:BB - Moving along here!  Got all the renders for the hunt part finished, along with enemy renders, stats and such, and emailed it all to Impresario.  Now, be aware, this next update COULD (not saying that it will, but could) run longer than usual.  The reason is that we are nearing the conclusion of D:BB!  That means, a lot of extra work for our friend, Impresario!

Examples of things that he will be needing to program over these last few releases will be things like the extra weapons in game.  An example might be silver bullets, that if purchased from Hobs will kill Werewolves in the Forest Hunt with a single attack.  Speaking of attacks, he might finally be able to do what I have wanted for enemies to have "charge up" attacks.  This is what I added the "Defend" option in the gameplay, because one is to watch and if say, an Ogre winds up for a heavy blow on one turn, the player will need to dodge, or risk taking double damage.

Seeting expectations is my way of things, and as usual, I am transparent and professional in this.  Other things that may or may not slow down the last two or so releases after Museum hunt are things like all the "extra" Bad Ends.  Remember the lovely Pink Potion?  The strange Plant?  Well, we will need to program that into the game among a few others you have not seen yet.  Not to mention the MASSIVE list of character unlocks.  This title may have between 100 to 200!  Good lord, that shall be so much new lore for you collectors to get and learn!

So, we are moving towards the end, and it's a great feeling!  Again, my releases may continue to be on their usual schedule, but, no matter what, it will be worth it!
