2019-01-23 19:21:23 +0000 UTCYes, sorry, I just finally had a chance to log online. Yes, if you so desire, you SHOULD be able to do the entire mountain hunt. We will likely be polishing the hit point, willpower thing letting folks know what damage they did or too, to be a bit more "in-line" with my other design aesthetics, but yes, I tested it three times last night and one can absolutely finish the first monster hunt. Now, it is designed to be tricky, so, and I am writing a guide for the monster hunts as each one will require different thinking. This first one is designed to be the easiest and basically teach people how the controls work, the fights are straight forward, and you do not require anything to beat (except maybe a certain type of potion). Future monster hunts will progressively get a bit more challenging, and it is likely in the final release that I might just give it a "skip" option for those that solely want more of a novel over gameplay, but for now I am leaving it in and wanting to work any kinks out. For example, CorruptiveSpirit gave me a heads up that the previous version was slowing down browsers the longer they were on the mountain. That bug and many others have been squashed.
