Progress Report (February 7th 2019)

D:BB - As you recall a few days ago, I finished all the renders for the Caverns, and since then, I finished all the renders for Chapter 5!  I am starting Chapter 6 renders today!  Things are going along at a great pace.  The Impresario has the Caverns and a pre-draft version of my eventual game guide I will release on the final release that explains what to do to get different goals, my assumption being that if he can program it using the guide, the player can navigate it!

I did get some feedback that people might be overwhelmed or lost when first playing D:BB, so I took a couple of days as well and created video tutorials that explain how the House of Haggle/Inventory, Monster Hunts, and the Sanctuary work for those that need it.  That should be quite helpful, I think, and easy to follow as they can pause or rewind as needed.  Of course, I made plenty of visual aids as well!

F:CoC - Still not at my Patreon goal yet!

Possible New Side Project - An unexpected and interesting thing happened last night.  A programmer familiar with my work sent me a message.  He wants to learn Unity, and knows I am interested in making Unity games.  Now, F:CoC is BlankSubroutine's idea, and so when I can pay him, he will make the match 3 game a reality, but this programmer wants to help me make a Unity game for free so that they can learn the software.

Many of you know the amazing work of my friend, Tabico.  Well, a couple of years ago, she and I had a conversation about the Princess Trainer game.  She said it would be awesome if someone made a type of game like that, but with squick.  My idea is to make a Unity game where one plays as the Infectulons.  It will fit into the Anaxverse (but not be actual lore), and it is after the invasion.

Justine Day, Trixie Goodwin, Absinthe Van Gothen, Chieko Naru, and Evelyn Addams have been relentlessly hunted down and finally captured.  You must break their wills to a degree that they will willingly infest themselves with the Infectulon virus.  The idea is that after you break one woman, I want her to now help break the others until all 5 belong to the Over Master.  Slugs, tentacles, goo and more, I think it would be hot and fun!  I am awaiting to hear back, but if he will take on this project, I could definitely squeeze in the renders and it would require some writing, but nowhere near the amount my novels do!  Let me know what you think!

General News - While I do still moderate on Hypnopics, I have stepped down as the Games Forum Moderator (you might recall my post a couple of months ago).  We selected three people to take over (apparently I was a workhorse!), and they all seem quite good choices.  I think that's it!  Otherwise, working on your entertainment is all I do!  Oh, I just noticed I have been doing progress reports for more than 30 weeks!  Seems like just yesterday...
