Weekly Progress Report (February 17th 2023)

GN:TT – The new huge (game mode) overhaul release of GN is out.  Thank you to Mars for helping me make my artistic visions a reality!  And, thank you patrons for your patience as I perfectly produced prolific... hmm, ran out of P words... anyway, I made a LOT of very large bad ends!  A total of 1571 new renders for this update (could be more actually) but the point is I appreciate you sticking with me.  Some folks I think only see the updates themselves as my work, but the truth is to make all that with such quality and quantity is no small feat and can only happen because the rest of you continually support me during the production process (OH more P words)  Anyway, $5 and anyone higher- if you have not gotten the new release- come and get it!

SB:C – Just to reiterate for any new investors, the original programmer, anonymous, messaged me and told me that he will not longer be willing or able to continue on the project.  However, Mars graciously said that he will help me complete the project.  I'll be getting to work on the Amelia release within a week or so, more information in the General News regarding while it will take a few days.

General News – I know not all of you are interested in the "behind the scenes" work, so if yo don't want to get as bored as this more mundane work makes me, just go and play the game already! lol  For those that are interested, over the next week, I have to do all the boring stuff of the job.  I'll kind of lay out the process as some of you might someday make games too!

Over the last few months while working on GN, I began to purchase music and music accounts on such sites.  Since my games will be going to Steam (hopefully within a year) I need to ensure I own all assets and right- including music.  As I try to buy music for GN, I sometimes find music that will suit the other games and grab it.  While I am very organized by nature, due to being so hellbent on getting the Rose Riley and then new GN out, I have been just tossing the music I buy into a folder named, "Anax Organize the Music"  So... lol I always said that would be future Anax's problem, but sadly, I am now future Anax lol

So, I am listening to literally hundreds of songs and trying to put them into folders for all the novel redux (and the novels not yet seen!).   If any of you even read this far and are ever interested in hearing some of the selections, just mention it to me in the Discord Spoiler Channel, and I'll share some selections for whatever novel you want to get a feel for.

The music aside, usually after a big update like this, I backup EVERYTHING.  Look at all the Daz assets I made for all these GN bad ends, not to mention the Rose content on SB:C, so a deligent professional like myself, sadly, must spend time doing this poring stuff.  However, with all the art and models and such the backups can take two days or more.  So usually my down times between these projects as you know is only maybe 3 or 4 days before I start the next one, ah ha, but there is yet one more step this time...

Also, as you probably know, thanks to you folks, and my credit score lol, I bought a $10,000 computer.  And as usual, this is seen as my tool.  I need it and that means taking care of it.  So, my advice to any of the rest of you that might someday follow in my shadowy footsteps is, get your computer cleaned professionally once a year.  Mine is custom built and the place here in Utah where i currently live, will clean it for free anytime, no questions asked.  And trust me, when a giant man with a bowler hat buys a 10k computer, they tend to remember you lol  And it should have been taken in probably in Nov, but anyway, it's definitely getting dusty and cat and dog hair in there, so I am taking it into the shop this week.  They usually take it for only 6 hours, but if they are busy it might be a day or two.

ANYWAY, now you all have some insight to some of the more boring side of my trade!  Hope you all enjoyed the new GN update and now, back to work I go!
