PREVIEW - DREAM OF A BUTTERFLY (KISAKI + RUMI - RUMI + KISAKI)

Shanhaijing is at peace. The streets are peaceful, where the students of the academy are able to walk without any threat of harassment and citizens are able to live their life without issues. How long has it been since there were any threats to this place, she could tell. And as she opens the window, she is greeted with the scent of daisy passing along with the wind.

For Ryuuge Kisaki, that should have been her dream all along. That is what her role as president has thrusted upon her, and as she hears the smiles and chatters of students walking down the street, she feels like her duty currently has been served.

However, there’s only one duty that she hasn’t done yet. And it’s being a student. “Huuuu……it’s been a week since I’ve last walked down the city. This is becoming a problem.” Kisaki noted. 

That freak……how long does she intend to terrorise me? She thought. Kai has been a massive security concern after she escaped from prison and to this day, she could never walk down the city without security bugging her at all sides. 

There must be a way for her to freely walk down the streets of Shanhaijing without being detected by Kai. But how would that be possible? 

She thought more as she returned back to her seat, brainstorming her options. Her appearance is far too identifiable, her accursed little body gave her no other options but disguise to hide her real identity. And even that wouldn’t throw her off Kai’s radar.. So what could she do? 

If only I can be a completely different person…….if only…..

Suddenly, an idea crossed her mind. Wait, that’s it! Kisaki spends no time calling her associate, with her eyes wide open to a possibility of escaping this palace unknown.

“Miss Yakushi, I require your presence here, immediately!!”

Rumi has no idea why she was brought here. Just this morning, she was given a message from a secret channel to meet with the President at her palace. Xianlong Office has never interfered directly with her business, and so, she could only question her intentions as she approaches the mighty palace in the middle of Shanhaijing.. Yet, she readily keeps up her smiley face as she follows the row of doors and guards of the complex that ends with the large door standing between her and the President. 

Fuuuuuhhh……..Rumi released a breath of air before the guards opened the door, and in her front, she was greeted with the watchful eyes of Ryuuge Kisaki, sitting at her desk as they both exchanged looks.

Rumi is not the one to be intimidated however. “Ahhhh, hello, Miss President! It’s been an honour to meet you  again so soon! What seems to be the occasion here, may I ask?” Rumi greeted her full with respect, not threading any water with the ice queen.

Kisaki’s arms wavered, signalling the moment that guards left their presence, until there were only her and the chef inside the room. Responding with her usual cold tone, “It’s been a while, Akeshiro Rumi. Before we proceed with our business, I need to ask. Have you told anyone of the nature of our business?”
