I love adornment. 

It's something that has brought me joy since as far back as I can remember.

I'm amazed at how my entire day and disposition can change when I dress myself a certain kind of way. 

I've been known to bring outfit changes to parties.

Sometimes I need something tighter. Looser. More colorful. More stark. Shorter. Cozier. Softer. Different style. More sparkly. 

There are infinite combinations of looks available.

And with each one, I get to uncover/discover/recover some part of me.

One of my most favorite things to do? Dressing people.

I've got a growing collection of clothing and jewelry to share. So, I sometimes bring costumes and clothing to gatherings, and adorn people. Step into my closet. They walk away seeing themselves differently. Beautiful. Powerful. Turned on. Excited. Fearless. Happy.

Sacred Adornment.

When I look good, I feel good.

When I feel good, I do good.

Growing up in a culture that placed so much importance on some narrow image of youthful beauty, I have done the work of re-claiming beauty for myself, defining what it means and looks like to me. And I love to guide others onto that path. Many people carry some negative story about putting time, effort, and care into one's appearance.

If you don't want to, that's fine. 

But if you want to, and you're keeping yourself from it as a way of playing small... or because you don't believe you can "pull it off"... whatever "it" is for you... well now, let's talk. 

Your body is a canvas for self-expression.

Your body is yours to play with.

Your choices in color, fabric, length, style, and cut are a way for you to craft yourself on the outside, to match how you feel on the inside.

No harm can come from this. 

Only more beauty. More inspiration. More joy. 

And don't we deserve the simple joys in this life?
