Shougai Showdown (Commission)
Added 2025-06-27 03:35:22 +0000 UTCFor this commission, I started with a pretty simple idea: “Two paraplegics fighting.” Initially, I was just planning to do a straightforward para boxing match. But after chatting with some friends on Discord, the concept of a paraplegic version of Juri Han from Street Fighter came up—and I couldn’t resist taking it in a more extreme, over-the-top direction.
I won’t go into too much detail just yet, but the idea of some sort tournament where disabled fighters face off really caught my interest. I’m currently trying to figure out the setting, but so far, I know I want the fighters to be grouped into teams—probably three or four members each—with every character having a different type of disability.
This won’t be a realistic setting; I want to lean into a more stylized, exaggerated vibe—something closer to an anime or comic, where I can explore things that wouldn’t be possible in real life.
Let me know if this is something you’d like to see developed further! I’d love to hear your ideas for potential team members, unique disabilities, or even team names. I’m really looking forward to your feedback.

I love what you're doing here. I think the idea of throwing realism away in favor of making your characters more badass like this is awesome.
