A Starry Morning, a Stumbling Night (More POVs)

I’ve had the task of creating more angles for this scene for a while now, and I wanted to use this post to explain how POVs or alternative versions will work in the near future (after the price adjustment). Honestly, I think I’ve been lacking in this area, so with the upcoming changes, I’ll be making posts like this more frequently. (They can also help me fill the daily quota xP)

As some of you may notice in a few of these images, there are empty spaces or clipping in the clothing. This happens because the image was originally meant to be seen from only one specific angle. Usually, if there’s clipping in the original shot, I fix it in Photoshop and do some color balancing to make it feel more alive.

I can’t apply that same level of editing to every single angle—it’s just too time-consuming and demanding. Plus, some environments only look good from one angle haha. So yeah, that’s what makes this kind of post a bit harder to do. BUT, if you’re all okay with me sharing more alternate angles even if they have a few imperfections, I’ll start posting them more often.

Now, the important part:
“How will I decide which posts get more POVs or alternative versions?”

In short, if anyone from the "Associates" tier or higher (other than the person who commissioned the image) leaves a comment on the post, I’ll go ahead and do it haha. This will only apply if the image naturally lends itself to having more angles or alt versions (I'll explain this in more detail in a future post). Maybe some close-ups of stumps or feet would be nice too haha.

Also, just a quick note: I’m going to start posting the four images I mentioned in the previous update. It’s a bit of a test to see if I can do it consistently without burning out haha. That idea actually came from a Patreon. I’m still deciding when to implement the price change—I’m honestly a bit scared that I’ll lose a lot of support when I do it. I’ll give it a few more days of thought.

So that’s all for now! Let me know what you think about this approach to alternative versions and POVs.

As a new angle it's fast, pretty much what you said about leaving the computer run. When making a new scene it's more difficult, since i have to make the pose adjust characters expressions, eyes, fingers, etc, and the most difficult part it's to make the light look good, that is the more demanding part since i have to render the scene in various settings, and then some post work in photoshop

sounds interesting. how long does it take to render an image (i.e. a new angle) vs. the whole process of creating a completely new pose and environment? is it just like change the camera angle and let your computer do its thing?
