"But how will my colleagues and especially the patients and their families react to me?" She wonders.
She knows she can no longer perform surgeries, but that doesn’t mean her work is over. She can still be there for her patients, especially those whose lives have been suddenly reshaped by disability. She can listen, guide, and help them find their way back to life.
After all, she’s lived it herself. She knows better than anyone that the key is not to give up, to keep believing in yourself. And with that belief, anything is possible.

Not yet. There's a disease where you can prevent progressive paralysis by voluntarily immobilizing yourself. And besides, it looks cool 😊
