“Yo! It’s Mai. The genius manager said doing a livestream would help our reach, so here I am. Don’t get used to me listening to him, alright?” She laughs, shaking her head. “But honestly, I’m glad to see so many of you already. Thanks for showing up.”

The chat scrolled quickly:

Yoko_Yay: Don’t tell her that, her ego’s already huge lol
Mai: “Yoko! Behave in the chat, or I’ll tell everyone about your pre-show karaoke warm ups.”
Yoko_Yay: nooo mai please 😂

Mai sighed softly but smiled into the camera.
Mai: “Nope, nothing from the waist down. If you stuck a fork in my leg, I wouldn’t feel it. Not that I’m recommending anyone try, okay? It’s kind of the number one question I get… guess people are curious. So, yeah. Answered.”

pink_ribbon: Mai, it seems that you often wear stockings. Is it convenient for you to wear stockings with your paralyzed legs?

Mai bursts out laughing, covering her mouth.
Mai: “Convenient? Oh god, no. They’re the worst. My legs just flop around while I’m trying to pull them up. Sometimes it feels like a wrestling match. But they look cute, so… fashion wins. Always.”

paralyzed_sis: I’m also a paralyzed girl. I want to know how you deal with incontinence in your daily life. Do you prefer a urine bag or a diaper?

Mai straightened a little, her tone softening.
Mai: “Hey… For me, I usually go with a urine bag, it’s easier for my routine, especially when I’m at the café or rehearsals. But honestly, everyone’s different. The important thing is what makes you comfortable. Don’t let anyone make you feel less for it. You’ve got this.” She gives a little thumbs up to the camera.

dreamcatcher44: Do you stand up in your dreams?

Mai: “Yeah, sometimes I do. Sometimes I’m running around, even. But when I wake up, I don’t really feel sad about it. Dreams are just… dreams, you know? I’m okay being me.”

NeonEdge: Do you often have spasms?

Mai: “From time to time. Sometimes it’s just little twitches, sometimes it’s like my whole chair is shaking. I’ve even spilled drinks at the maid café because of them. Customers panic, but it’s fine. Just part of the deal”

idolWatcher33: What’s your opinion on devotees?

Mai tilted her head thoughtfully.
Mai: “That’s a big one. I can’t say I dislike them, and I can’t say I like them either. Some of them are really supportive of me, of our group, and even of the other girls at the maid café where I work. I really appreciate that kind of support. But… others can be too pushy, crossing lines, making me uncomfortable. So I guess my opinion is: it depends on the person. Respect makes all the difference.”

The chat picked up again, jokes and comments scrolling rapidly.

Then a new question appeared:

anon_q: Can you still please yourself?

Mai stops mid-read, stares at the screen, then gives the flattest glare imaginable.

Mai:“…Wow. Classy. That’s where we’re going, huh?” She sighs. “Alright, stream’s over. Thanks to everyone who asked real questions. Love you guys. The rest of you, grow up.”

She waves sharply and ends the stream.

Mai:
I swear… I wanna punch whoever asked that last question. Right in the face.

Yoko:
😂😂😂 the glare you gave?? omg I almost choked on my soda. Legendary.

Rin:
noooo Mai, don’t punch them, just let me roast them in the chat next time 🔥 I’ve got lines prepared.

Akane:
Wait… wasn’t that just… like… a health question? 🤔 Maybe they were worried about your, um… circulation or something?

Rin:
LMFAO 💀💀💀 Akane pls. no.

Mai:
Akane… sweet summer princess. No, it was not about circulation.

Yoko:

Akane:

Rin:

Mai:

Yoko:

Mai:
Actually, that might work. “Welcome to Akane’s wholesome Q&A hour.”

Yoko:
ooo can we make that a segment?? I’d tune in just to watch her crash and burn 🤣

At first, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to write something like this, but once I got inspired everything started to flow nicely. I even decided to add the other members of the idol group into some of the answers haha.

Tho i’m not sure if I managed to capture all of the girls’ personalities in that last group chat, but let me know what you think of this little story. Maybe doing some Q&A sessions for the other characters like this could be fun too.
