The Inflatable Curse rough draft

The Inflatable Curse.

Pam ran her hands through her dark silky hair as she approached the library door. “Time to get some research done. I have a trip to the Grand Canyon in a few days to do some exploring and I want to be prepared.” She walked up to the massive wooden double doors. “Now let’s see what I can find here that will help me.”

As she walked inside she was greeted with blessed air conditioning. “It is so nice to be out of that dreadful heat. So many places around town don’t have AC these days. I might have just come here for the cool air alone.” Pam walked up to the front desk where she was greeted by a young man she had never seen before.

“Hello and welcome to the Hellonstate Public Library.”

“Where is Terry?” Pam crossed her sunburned arms. “She is normally here on the weekends.”

He shrugged his broad shoulders. “Off on vacation. Something about testing her luck out in Las Vegas or something.” He pulled at his small beard. “In the mean time I will be handling things here. It may be my first few days but I can help you.” He put his dark hands onto the desk. “Now how can I help you?”

Pam looked at his name tag. “Well Vector you can show me to where the books about the Grand Canyon are.”

He turned around and pointed to his right. “Walk down two isles and take a right. You will find what you want there.”

Pam smiled. “Thank you.” She walked passed him as she adjusted her blue blouse. Pam took a right where she had been told to and walked down the aisle as she scanned the books on both sides. “Ok. Time to find something that will help me. Hmm that is strange. There is nothing here about canyons or anything like that. Did I go to the wrong place or did Vector send me to the wrong part of the library?” Her eyes widened. “What is this?”

She walked up to the bookshelf. “Ancient tales of the American West.” Pam pulled the book from the shelf. “I guess this is better than nothing.” She slid the leather bound book into her armpit and walked back to the desk at the front of the building.

Vector smiled as she approached. “Find what you were looking for?”

She shook her head. “No, but I think I found something else that might be interesting.” She set the book onto the counter.

He picked up the novel and examined it. “Ahh yes, I know this. Nice read. You will enjoy it.”

“You are into weird myths and legends?”

He ran the book under the scanner and laughed. “Yes. I enjoy reading about those crazy stuff.” He handed her the book. “Ghost stories, flying people, people inflating like balloons.”

“What?”

“Oh nothing. I need your card.”

She reached into her purse. “Just a moment. Here you are.” She handed Vector here library card so she could check out the novel.

“There you are.” He handed her back the card. “Enjoy.”

Pam smiled. “Thank you.” She turned. “And have a good rest of your day.”

“You too. And check out the story on page hundred fifty six. I know you will like it.”

She shrugged her shoulders. “Ok. I will.” Pam shoved the book into her purse and slowly walked towards the doors. She wanted to soak in as much of the cool air as she could before going back out into the dreaded heat. With her hand on the oak door she said, “Ok time to bake.”

Pam pushed the doors open and rushed outside towards her car. “Hurry.” Sweat was already forming on her body and she wiped it from her forehead as she ran along the side walk. “This is what I get for parking a few blocks away.”

A few minutes later Pam arrived at the small parking lot where she had left her vehicle. She pulled out her key fob and pressed the unlock button. “Let me in. I am dying here.” She flung open the driver’s door and slid inside. “Get in the hole you stupid key. I want soothing air.” She hit her hand on the steering wheel. “It is too hot for this.” Finally she slid the key into the slot and turned on the engine and then quickly turned on the air. “Finally.” Pam sat back and took a few deep breaths. “I hate this time of year. It is so hot and sticky. She looked down at her blouse. “And all this moisture makes my breasts stand out. I will have to change when I get home.”

Now that the temperature in the car was no longer unbearable, Pam began to back the vehicle out of the parking lot. “Let’s turn the radio on shall we.”

“And here at channel 14 we are still looking for someone to take over the reins after the studio found out that Garry tried to get his own coworker turned into a blueberry on live television.”

“Ugh.” She turned the station. “What in the world was that about?”

“Potion’s R Us. Come on down and check out or stock of exotic tonics. We have everything from pick me ups to keep you awake to real kickers that will take you up a few feet. We are now on—

“Feet? What the hell is becoming of these stations? I just want some music.”

“We will be back to the 90’s rock that you know and love in a few. But first we wanted to talk about a strange rumor that the studio has picked up on. A casino where people can lose more than just their money if they are not carful.  We have a guest with us today who says they have come from a place called the bunny casino.”

Pam turned off the radio. “Ok. I think that is enough of that. I will just drive in silence. It is a good thing I am almost home.” She turned onto a road filled with pot holes and small suburban homes. At the end of the street stood her home, a small one story house with faded paint and a dented garage. Her ex-boyfriend had driven into it while drunk three months ago after coming home from a party with his “friends.” More like a bunch of dirty bags who were mooching off of him for beer.

Pam drove into her driveway and parked her vehicle. “Nice to be home.” She shut off the engine and stepped out of her car. “Now to get inside.” Pam rushed over to the other side of the vehicle and grabbed her purse. “I leave in two days and want to get some packing done tonight.”

She rushed inside, ready to be out of the midday head. “Phew.” She wiped the sweat from her forehead. “When they said it would be over a hundred today they weren’t kidding.” She slid down against the door and pulled at the collar of her blouse. “Just a few more hours and this heat nightmare will be over with.”

She tapped her fingers on her purse and her new book. “I guess I should spend some time reading you before I start packing tonight. Ugh.” She rolled her eyes. “With this heat I think it would be a great idea to start reading now instead of getting ready for my trip.” She pushed herself to her feet and walked into the next room.

Boxes and other items filled the room. Pam wasn’t the best when it came to cleaning. Every day she said, “I will get to it tomorrow.” But tomorrow never comes expect maybe once a year. She was embarrassed to let people see the inside of her house. It wasn’t’ hoarder bad but still her house was an absolute mess.

She sat down on the couch next to her laundry from the night before that she folded but forgot to put away. “Let see.” She pulled the book out of her purse. “What was the page that that nice young told me I would find a good story on?” Pam tapped the bottom of her chin. “Oh yes, it was hundred and fifty six.” She opened the cover and began to flip through the pages. “This thing sure is old and dusty. I wonder when the last time anyone checked it out.” She coughed. “Just going through it is aggravating my allergies. Ahh here we go.”

She held the book out in front up and a strange flash of light washed over her. “Huh?” Pam shook her head as she rubbed her eyes. “What in the world was that?” After a few moments she regained her ability to see looked down at the book in front of her. “Ok now that I can see again what this thing say?” Pam narrowed her eyes. “That is strange. All that is written here is the body shall became its true form upon hearing the words etched here. Bon. . The rest is faded. I can’t make it out.” She sighed. “Ya thanks a lot for that Vector. Great first story.” She set the book down and wiped her forehead. “I think I am going to get a glass of water. It is just too hot today.”

Her purse vibrated as she stood of. “Damn phone.” She dug into her bag for her cellphone. “Hello?”

“This is Crazy Andy here and I wanted to tell you about the deal we have on credit cards.”

“Not interested.”

“But we can help you save bonkers cash.”

Pam blinked. “You can?”

“Why yes. I you just give me your information you can start saving today.”

She shook her head. “Umm no thank you.” Pam hung up. “I can’t believe I kept talking to that fool.” She slammed her phone down the table. “What was I doing? Oh yes, going to get some cool water. Phew I just feel light headed all of a sudden.”

Once she reached the door to the kitchen Pam put her hands on her knees. “Ok. Something is seriously weird right now.” She pressed on my stomach. “I kind of feel like my insides are getting light and hard at the same time. I don’t’ know how to explain it. Maybe it was something I had to eat today or heat exhaustion. Yes, the heat is playing tricks on me. I need to go and get some nice soothing water into me.”

Pam walked over to the fridge and opened the door, yet as she did so she heard the sound of stretching plastic. “That is strange.” She grabbed her water and shut the door. As she walked over the table it sounded as if some rubber object were moving though the room. “What is that noise?” She scratched at her head. “It is starting to drive me a bit nuts. Ugh.” Pam sat down at the table and once again heard the screeching sound of plastic rubbing against some unknown surface. “What is going on?” She slammed her hand against her leg causing it to squeak. “I want to. . .” Pam pushed before slowly pressing down on her leg. “It feels like it is made of plastic. The whole bottom half of my body is.”

Pam jumped up. “Ok. Stay calm. There has to be a reasonable explanation for all of this.” She pulled up her blouse and watched as her skin slowly turned into plastic. “Yes I am sure there is a reason why this is happening to me. Ugh. My belly button hurts now.” Pam rubbed her stomach. “It is pushing itself outward. Gahh.” Suddenly her belly button popped out and twisted itself around. “It’s turning into a plug?” She pulled at the strange device. “It is like the air value you find on a. . .” Pam shuddered. “A blow up doll.”

She rushed towards the living room. “I need to find that book. Ouff.” She tripped over a rouge box and she fell to the ground and out of her shoes. Pam pushed herself up off the ground as the plastic crept up her torso. “I can’t let this continue anymore. I need to find a way to reverse this.” She felt her breasts harden. “Ohh that feels oddly satisfying.” She shook her head. “I can’t be thinking about that now. I have a crises on my hands.”

Finally she reached the book and flipped it open to the page that had started this curse. “Ok how can I stop this?” She skimmed through the book. “You have to tell me something. I can’t even feel my fingers anymore.” Pam shook her hands. “Come on.”

The plastic began to creep up her neck. “Dammit there is nothing in here.” Pam threw the book across the room. She took long deep breaths, her shiny new neck inflating and deflating with every breath. “There has to be another answer. You can think of something before this becomes anymore out of hand.” She smacked herself in the forehead. “Oh who am I kidding? I am already covered head to toe in this junk.” She sat down, her body making a crunching sound as she did so. “How will I be able to show myself in public like this?” She sighed. “I guess I don’t have to worry about combing my hair every again.” She held her rubber hair in her hands. “That is one plus of this craziness.” Pam narrowed her eyes. “Wait is my hair melding together?”

She watched as her hair took on a life of its own, the strands becoming one mass of plastic. “I am starting to look like some television character.” Pam laughed. “Aren’t I starting to look cute?”

She put her hands over her mouth. “What did I just say?” Pam giggled. “It was funny.”

As she turned her head back and forth she felt a new sensation. “I can feel air filling up my body.” She closed her eyes. “So I can be nice and firm. Need to be for pleasure.” Pam shook her head. “Stop saying that. Even my voice is starting to rise. Whohhh.”

Pam waved her arms as she began to fall backwards. “I can’t move my legs. No.” Down she went onto her squishy butt and bounced up and down. “Ohh dolly fall down.”

She tried to use her arms to push herself up but they wouldn’t respond. “Oh noes. Arms wont’ work either. What a wonderful, I mean horrible problem.”

She looked down at her body. “What is going on with my clothing?” Her blouse and pants began to sink into her body. “No stop!” Soon all she could see was her naked body. “Oh my. Dolly able to please now.” She giggled. “How nice.”

Pam rocked her body. “Snap out of it.” She smiled. “Snappy snap snap.”

She winced as she felt a new sensation. “My privates feel funny.” Pam tilted her head downward. “My love hole is forming for lover.” Her vagina slowly stretched outward as it became pink and round. “Dolly have one love hole now, need second.”

Her arms and legs began to move on their own, her arms becoming slightly bent and her legs perfectly straight. “Almost ready to play.” She shook her head. “No. I need to. . .” He mouth began to itch. “Need to. . .” She tried to close her mouth but her lisp would no longer obey her thoughts as they slowly stretched outward. In moments her mouth was a round pink hole that waited for someone’s tender kiss.

Pam’s eyes darted from side to side. I can’t move. It is great isn’t it? Soon Dolly will be able to play. She shut her eyes. No. I am not a sweet pleasurably dolly waiting for someone to ugh. She tried to blink but her eyes wouldn’t move. Yes dolly. That is what I am. Waiting to love.
