Tale of the Bunny Amulet part 2 extended preview

Tale of the Bunny Amulet Part 2

Terry hopped away from the cottage and into the cold night air. She could hear the shouts behind her, “Where did that giant rabbit go?”

“That thing was Terry, right?”

“I don’t care. I don’t want some giant bunny lady in my house.”

Terry stopped at the edge of the forest and looked back as she twitched her nose. “Goodness me, I smell something amazing.” She shivered. “Like maybe having to leave those people and fun behind might be worth it after all.”

She hopped into the forest and soaked up the dim light of the moon. The strange amulet which had caused her to undergo her transformation bounced around her neck as she bounded through the trees. Soon she came to a small river and dipped her furry paws in. “Aww.” She lowered her head and took some quick gulps. “So nice.”

Terry sniffed the air again. “Like I can still smell that wonderful fucking smell.” She turned around. “And it is like moving.” She blinked as she turned to the left. “I like can’t let it get away.”

She quickly hopped down the river towards the intoxicating smell. Her chase led her back towards the highway and a covered bridge. Terry slowly hopped under the crossing as she figured out where to go next. “Like it is close.” She giggled. “Mhmm.”

She climbed the side of the road and peered into the bridge. There she could see the bright light from a truck and a young and familiar man as he stood over the front of the vehicle. “Go to town and get something for the young lady.” He slammed his hand on the hood of the truck. “Great idea. Now I am the one who is lost and stuck out in the cold for the night. We should have just found something we had in the storage cellar for that Terry woman.”

Terry giggled and pulled herself onto the bridge. The wooden planks below her creaked below her giant fluffy feet.

“What was that?”

Terry quickly hopped around and hid behind the side of the wall before the mystery man spotter her. Terry put a paw over her chest as her heart raced. Then, she turned her head and giggled. “I won’t’ like let him ruin my fun surprise.”

She peered back around the corner and could see that the young man had turned his back once more. Terry giggled and slowly stepped back out onto the bridge. “Like slowly this time.” She slowly hopped over on her tiptoes.

The young man talked to himself as she approached. “I might have to walk back to the cabin at this point. This dammed truck is becoming a lost cause.” He sighed. “Why couldn’t Ester have come out here or one of my brothers?” He ran his hands through his hair. “No, send Tom. He doesn’t need to stay when there is a good-looking guest. Oh no!” He turned around and shined his light directly in Terry’s giant bunny face. “What the hell?”
