New story rough draft

I finished both the SFW and NSFW versions but will just post the SFW rough draft tonight.

A Blueberry World Part one

Christen rolled down the window of her car as she drove home from a long day at work. She was ready to relax for a bit before heading out to party later that night. She was in her young twenties, single and looking to have fun not be trapped in some fast food place until she went crazy. She couldn’t wait to get home and switch out of her dark red uniform and grey slacks.

Still she had to do something for money. She wasn’t finished with collage yet so she couldn’t get the job she studying for, a game designer. Christen wanted to develop her own fantasy role playing game, it was her dream. But actually getting to the point where she could start working on her dream seemed like an impossible task.

The radio station began to cut out. Christen sighed as she moved her long dark hair from her face. This always happened as she drove through his part of town so she just turned the radio to a different station to listen to some rock music.

We will get back to the music soon. Now let’s get into our strange urban story of the week.”

Christen sighed. “You have got to be kidding me.”

“Earlier today a young woman by the name of Marget came into the Saint Marthas hospital complaining about a strange bug bite. A few hours later her skin turned blue and she experienced extreme swelling.

The young woman is miraculously ok. Despite having massive swelling she was able to easily recover on her own, though she is still blue as of this recording. This was just such a weird story that we thought it would make our strange urban stories segment of the week.”

Christen laughed as the music began to play. “That is crazy. I can’t believe where they even come up with these stories. Last week it was some crazy story about ants that were carrying the police station two inches west every month. I wonder who is getting paid to write such boloney.”

She came to a stop at an intersection, tapping her finger on the wheel. “Just a few more lights and I will be home. Greg is supposed to be coming over tonight.  He said he had a surprise for me or something.”

Christen suddenly heard a strange buzzing. “Crap did I let a bee or something in my car?” She began to swat around as the light turned green. “Ugh great.” If there was one thing she hated it was bugs. As she drove she had one blue eye scanning her vehicle for the pesky invader. Where are you?

Suddenly she saw the bug. It was the strangest thing she had ever seen, a big blue swollen bug hovering just in front of her face. She used her left hand to swat at it. “Get out of my car.”

The strange fly dogged her hand and landed on her arm and bit her. “Oww.” She slammed down hard squashing it, a strange blue liquid oozing out. “Yuck.”

Christen wiped off her arm at the next intersection and closed her window. “At least it wasn’t a bee.” She held up her arm and observed a dark purple ring around where she had been bitten. “I hope I don’t have to go to the doctor for that exotic bug bite.” She shook her head. “That is the last thing I need right now.”

A few minutes later she drove into her garage. Christen let out a sigh of relief as she parked her car and stepped out of her vehicle. “Time to clean this gunk off my shirt before Greg arrives.” She looked at her arm as she walked into her house. “At least the bug bite seems to be healing. I don’t see the purple ring anymore.”

As she stepped through the door two hands covered her eyes. “Guess wh—

She turned around and kicked. Moments later she heard a familiar voice. “Ugh. Christen it’s me. Greg. God you hit me right in the groin.”

She put her hands to her lips. “Greg? What are you doing here?”

He fell onto his knees. He had a dark black jacket and blue jeans. “I used the spare key you gave me. I wanted to surprise you for our one month anniversary.”

She helped him up. “Sorry. I should have told you I don’t like people sneaking up on me. Especially in my own house.”

Greg took a deep breath as he blinked his green eyes. “Noted now. It is nice to see you even if you tried to kill me.”

She laughed. “Who tried to kill who? You were stalking around in my house.”

“You gave me a key.”

“Yes. Yesterday.” She rolled her eyes. “I might take it back.”

Greg waved his hands. “No. You don’t have to. I promise I won’t do this again.”

Christine laughed. “I am kidding. You would have to do a lot worse for me to take that baby back.” She turned around and kissed him.

“Well that is a relief. So where do you want to go tonight?”

Christine stretched. “I think my neighbor is having a party later tonight. They said something about it yesterday.”

Greg nodded. “Ok. Well I will see you over then tonight.”

She turned around as he headed for the door. “Hey you don’t even know when it will be.”

He shrugged. “Just wait for when all the cars appear. It isn’t my first time.” He walked down the hallway and moments later she heard her front door slam.

Christine sighed as she headed upstairs. “I need to switch out of this ugly uniform and into something more appealing for tonight. I don’t want people to barf when the see me tonight, especially Greg.”

She opened the door of her bedroom and sat on the edge her bed, working on uniting her bland brown work shoes. Once she had her laces untied she flipped her shoes off into her closest. She then flexed her toes. “Ahh much better.”

As she stretched out her legs she noticed a strange blue color just above her socks. “That is strange.” She pulled down her socks to see that her feet had turned a dark blue color.

“What in the world?” She scratched at her skin. “How did this happen? Ugh it won’t even come off.” Christen sighed. “Now I have to wear crappy shoes to the party to hide this. At least it is just my feet. This could be much worse.”

Christen switched out of her work uniform and into something more commutable, a blue blouse and black and blue skirt. She put on sneakers and blue socks to hide her discolored skin. “There. That should do for tonight.”

Later that night Christine found herself knocking at her neighbor’s door, hoping they would hear her with the booming music from inside. A few moments later a stumbling man in a grey and red pattered t-shirt opened the door. “Christen.” He opened his arms wide. “Happy to see you.”

She hugged him. “He Andrew. I see you are drunk already.”

“It wouldn’t be a party if I couldn’t have some fun. And you smell fine as well if I do say so myself.”

She smiled. “Thank you.”

He closed the door behind her scratching his black hair. “You oddly smell like blueberries.”

She walked into the next room. I need to make sure I don’t give him any drinks tonight. He is already a bit too crazy.

She walked into the next room. There were a good two dozen people hanging out, dancing and in the corner she could see a few people playing beer pong. Greg immediately walked up to her, a cold beer in his hand.

“Christen. Glad you could make it.”

She narrowed her eyes. “I told you I would be here, and about this party.”

He laughed. “Hey I am just glad you are here. I was becoming lonely without you.”

She pushed him. “It has only been two hours.” She laughed. “You can live a bit without me for two hours.”

Greg started to laugh. Christen tapped her foot on the ground. “Hey what is so funny? I didn’t think what I said would make you laugh this much. Or at all you joker.”

She was tapped on the shoulder and turned around to see Margret. She sighed, blowing her blonde hair out of her face. “Christen he is laughing because of your blue makeup. You look like a clown.”

“What are you talking about?”

Margret rolled her amber eyes as she reached down into her pocket and pulled out her phone. “Look genius.”

Margret used the mirror on her phone to show Christens face. “Oh my god what happened to my face? I am blue.” She looked at her hands. “They are blue too. What is going on?”

Margret grabbed Christen by the shoulder. “Hey calm down. You are making a scene. Look if you are going to be this weird just go home.”

Christen ignored the passive aggressive comment. “Yah that sounds good.”

As she reached the door she heard Greg’s voice. “Hey where are you going?”

She turned her head as she opened the door. “I umm. Don’t feel good.”

“Anything I can do? Is it a reaction to that strange blue make up you put on?”

She sighed. “Yes that is it. A reaction. I am going to go home and sleep it off.” Christen walked and slammed the door behind her. “More I am going to drink myself to sleep. I am going crazy that is what.”

She began to feel a strange sensation wash over her body as she walked the short distance to her house. “Ugh my legs are starting to feel heavy.” Christen opened her door and walked inside. “I just feel like I am filling up with liquid or something.”

She looked down to see her legs were swollen. “What in the world?” She reached down. “They are almost double in size.” She squeezed her thigh. “And so squishy. Is this liquid? I can feel it sloshing around in my leg. Oh god what is happening to me.”

Her shoes started to tighten. “Oh no.” Christen squinted her eyes. “It is becoming worse. I need help.” She lifted one massive leg after another heading for the phone, each step more difficult than the last. “How is this even possible? I shouldn’t be swelling up to this extent.”

Christen fell to her knees as her shoes snapped apart. “Damnit.” She tried to stand back up but struggled as she tried to bend her legs. “This is bad.” She moved herself so she was sitting with her legs out in front of her. Each leg was half the size of her couch. “This isn’t happening.” She put her hands to her face. “This is just a bad dream. That is all it is.”

Her chest suddenly began to feel tight. Christen looked down as her belly began to balloon outward, filling with the same strange liquid as her legs. She pressed down on her body as she became more circular. “No. Stop filling up. Ugh. Stop it.”

She fought to keep upright as she continued to swell. Not only was she becoming top heavy but her massive legs had now merged and were helping to tip her over onto her back. She put her left arm behind her to try and keep her upright. “Come on Christen. Keep it together.” She shook her head. “What am I saying? Don’t keep it together. Let it out. Let all of this shit out.”

Christen continued to swell, her body becoming more and more like a giant blue sphere. Her clothing became skin tight as her skin expanded ever outward. “I can’t move. Well besides my body rolling around on its own.” She shook her head. “Will my body ever stop swelling? I feel like all my body is becoming is a giant blob of swollen skin, hands feet and my head. What am I going to do?” She rolled her eyes. “And why do I have to taste these blueberries in my mouth. It is the last thing I need right now.”

Finally Christens body stopped swelling. She let out a sigh of relief. “Finally. Now I can. . .” She tried to move. “Ugh great. I am humongous blue and can’t do anything about it.” She took a deep breath. “Someone help me. I am a giant swollen blueberry thing.”

She shook her head. “No one is going to hear me with the party they are having over there.” Christen sighed. “What am I going to do?”
