Karren winced as the news helicopter buzzed around her like a fly. “Will you stop bothering me!” She slammed her foot down, causing all of the nearby cars to jump into the air.
“Haven’t you seen a fifty-foot woman before?”
“The giantess is moving downtown. We dare not get any closer as she seems pretty agitated. Just look at those flaring gigantic green eyes.”
Karren pulled at her tangled dark hair. “Ughhh, I didn’t know when I grew; I was going to have to put up with this.” She swatted at the news chopper. “Go away. I don’t need you blabbing to the entire world where I am. I have things to do. People to smash beneath my feet.” Her hand struck the tail end of the helicopter, sending it into a tailspin. “Oww.” She waved her hand about. “Fuck that felt like hitting a wall.”
She watched as the news chopper landed atop a nearby building, and the crew stumbled out. Karren put her hands on her hips and bent over, towering over the small news crew. “Let that be a lesson to you. Don’t mess with me.” One of them pointed a camera at her, so she picked them up like a doll. “What did I just say?” The tiny man gulped. “Are you so desperate to get me on the news that you don’t listen to the giant lady that knocked you out of the sky?” She shook him like a pepper shaker until he dropped the camera, the device falling to the streets below.
“Hey, that thing cost almost ten thousand dollars.”
Karren rolled her eyes. “Anything so I don’t end up on the evening news.” She dropped his butt onto the roof with his comrades. “I have business to attend to, and I don’t need my, ahem, business partner of sorts knowing that I am dropping in on them.” The tiny figures gasped as she moved her face within a few feet of them. “You wouldn’t want to ruin that surprise, would you?”
They all shook their heads. “No, of course not.”
“Please. Surprise people away.”
Karren took a step back. “Good. Good.” She crossed her arms. “I’m glad we have an understanding. Now enjoy the rest of your day.”

Ashely tapped away on the dashboard of the minivan. “The boss has been up tight for the last few weeks, hasn’t he?”
Clay laughed. “Ya, well, after our place was ransacked, what do you expect.” He sipped on his cup of coffee. “Spends his life hunting giantesses so they don’t hurt anyone, and then suddenly all of the giantesses he has locked up escape. Do you think there is a reason we are working overtime right now?”
She rolled her eyes. “Yes, but how do you know they didn’t shrink back down? They all do eventually. I think Ben is just mad still that the facility was breached.”
He rubbed Ashely on her shoulder. “Well, all I know is we get paid by the hour. And if that means just sitting around and watching the paint dry in this little town, then I’m happy.” He sat back in his chair. “It’s easier than some of the other jobs that people have in this so-called Giantess Hunters organization.” He took a sip from his coffee. “So, relax, Ashely. We have an entire day to just sit here and do nothing.” He pulled out his phone. “In fact, I am going to watch a movie.”
“But. . .” The minivan suddenly shook.
Clay gulped and looked around. “What in the world was that?” The van shook again, and he looked down at his coffee, the black water rippling outward toward the edge of the cup. “Please tell me there is an earthquake going on.”
Suddenly a massive foot came crashing down in front of their van, causing Ashely to scream. “Holy hell.” She twisted about, knocking Clay’s coffee into his lap.
“Shit.” He jumped up. “Why did you do that?”
“Why? There is a woman the size of the fucking Eiffel Tower who nearly stepped on us.” Ashely held her hand over her chest. “I think I’m having a heart attack. I never thought I would see a giantess, never mind having one nearly step on me.”
Clay wiped his pants down. “Calm down. You are going to be ok. Take a deep breath.” He started the van. “I need your head in the game while we hunt that giantess down ok.”
“What?” Her blue eyes widened in shock. “Aren’t we going to call for backup or something?”
Clay sped down the street. “No time. We either capture her now or not at all.”

Karren smiled as the Fredricks Fancy building came into view. “Ok. Now we are finally getting somewhere.” She rubbed her hands together. “Fredrick, I can’t wait to feel you squirm between my fingers.” She ran her fingertips along the glass windows. “Ok, let’s see. I think the executive floor is right up. . .” Karren slammed her fist through the glass. “Here.”
She ignored the screaming she heard as she peered through the skyscraper’s windows. “Hmm. Oh, Fredrick.” Karren smiled as she spotted the tiny man scrambling for the doorway. “Ahh, there you are.” Before he could reach the door, her hand wrapped around his body. “You weren’t thinking about running out on me, were you?” She dragged him out above the street and in front of her face. “Now you know that would be extremely rude right?”
He trashed about in her hands. “Put me down this instant. Sarah, if you are pissed for what happened at that trial, then. . .” He looked into her face. “Wait a minute. You’re not Sarah. I know you, though.”
She tightened her grip around him. “Of course, you fucking know me. I’m Karren.” Fredrick groaned. “I used to be one of your big executives until I didn’t do exactly what you wanted, remember? Then you experimented on me day and night. Trying to perfect that stupid size-changing formal of yours. God, how I hated having to work for you and being forced to change in size for your stupid profits.”
“Ughhh, so you became a giantess just to get back at me?” He tried to slip out of her grip. “Seems a bit hypocritical.”
Karren laughed as she tossed him into the air. “Well, I originally stole some of that giantess blood you took from Sarah. I wanted to expose what you are doing to the world. But accidents happen.” She grabbed him and slammed him against the side of the building. “But if I can’t expose you, then maybe there are other things I can do to you. Make sure you can’t hurt anyone else.”
She winced as she felt something cold and hard wrap around her right leg. Fredrick laughed as her grip loosened, and he was able to worm free. “Well, looks like my employees came through after all.” He climbed up to the hole in the building she had punched. “I do hope you enjoy your time with them. Cho.” He ran into the safety of his headquarters.
She slammed her hand against the side of the skyscraper. “Damnit all.” Karren then twisted around and looked at the strange little van. “You little.” She bent over and grabbed the side of the vehicle. “How dare you let that jerk get away. I was about to. . .”
A young lady stumbled out of the vehicle. “Screw this. This isn’t worth working for the Giantess Hunters.”
Karren raised an eyebrow. “Giantess Hunters?” She bent down and grabbed the young woman. “What are you talking about?”
The young lady screamed. “Please. I’m sorry that I tried to hunt you down. I don’t. . .”
Karren rolled her eyes. “I’m not going to hurt you. I just want to know what these Giantess Hunters are. Why don’t you start with your name?”
She took a deep breath. “Ashely.”
“Ok, Ashely. What is a Giantess Hunter?”
“It is an organization that hunts down giantesses.”
Karren used her free hand to rub at her chin. “Oh really.”
“But I don’t want anything to do with it anymore. So, you will let me go? Please?”
“No. I want you and your friend to take me to them.” Karren smiled. “I think I have a plan for these so-called hunters.”
