Rise of the Giantess Hunters p2 extended preview

Rise of the Giantess Hunters p2

Heather ran her hands through her silky hair as the moonlight shone from above. “How did this happen?” She pulled at her hair, the pain reminding her that her new towering height was real. “How in the blood hells did I grow to be so big?” She winced as her foot smashed a bike. “Ughhh crap!” She bent down and pried the small blue bike from between her toes. “Someone is going to have a nasty surprise in the morning.”

As she stood up, Heather examined herself, left only in her bra and undies. “Well, at least the growth stopped when it did.” She sighed. “I don’t need the countryside crying out because they see my enlarged frame.”

Heather turned her head to see bright blue and red lights coming down the road. “Ugh, why can’t you leave me alone, Ben.” She started running again. “Growing out of your house wasn’t my fault. Just leave me alone.” She had been running for the last half hour. It seemed Ben had the entire township looking for her. Heather sighed as she leaned against a small house. “Just who is this nutcase anyways? Why does he hate me so much now that I have a few extra feet on me? And how did he get so many people to search for me?”

She knelt down as a helicopter flew by. “Ugh, I can’t take this. I need a place to hide. But between that damn moon above and all of these tiny crazy people trying to find me, where can I go?”

Her eyes darted to the house across the street and the screams emanating from it. “What in the world?” She slowly walked across the street. “It sounds like some kind of party.” Consumed with curiosity, Heather knelt down, her body taking up the entire road. Inside she could see multiple small figures dancing and drinking. Loud music filled the air, and Heather even spotted an out-of-season Christmas tree. “What in the world is this nonsense?”

One of the young lads walked up to the open door and looked into Heather’s giant hazel eyes. “Hey. Did any of you order a giant lady?”

A young woman walked up to him. “I ordered a pizza an hour ago. You must be high if you are. . .” He looked at Heather. “Oh wow. That is a big face.”

Heather pushed herself back, her butt smacking the building behind her. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. Please don’t freak out.”

The young man laughed. “Why would we freak out?”

The lady brushed her long golden curls to the side. “Ya. What has your giant umm. . . bunchies in a bunch?” Her companion sneered at her. “What? She doesn’t have curly hair, so I had to think of something.”

He shook his head and looked up at Heather. “Hey, it is cool. My name is Moris. What is yours?”

“Heather.” She relaxed her shoulders.

Moris laughed. “Lovely name. Heather. So do you want to come inside?”

The lady next to Moris punched him in the shoulder. “So, we are inviting anyone off the street now? I had to fight tooth and nail to get into this party.”

He shrugged his shoulders. “Oh, Hope. The young lass is clearly. . .” He rolled his head about. “Clearly umm. . .”

Heather shrugged her shoulders. “I don’t know. I don’t want to. . .” She stopped herself midsentence, knowing that with all the people chasing her, now wasn’t the time to be hesitant to accept charity. “Oh, what the hell. If you want me to squeeze inside and join you, I will.”

As Heather slid her head inside, Hope’s eyes widened. “Oh my!” The others in the room turned their heads as Hope took a few steps back. “It seems we have a new person joining in on the fun.”

Heather laughed. “Umm, hello there.” She slid her way into the room, her enlarged frame breaking apart the doorway. “I hope you all don’t mind.” She gulped as the room went silent. “Umm. . .” As she pulled her torso into the room, Heather twisted herself about in the room so she could slide her body back out onto the street. “Moris said it was ok that I could come in. So, if you all would please blame. . .”

The room suddenly erupted in cheer as everyone ran up to Heather. “Hey, how did you get so big?”

“Ya. You look so cool.”

“Can I sit on your head?”

Heather laughed. “Wow, you really like my size?” She pulled the rest of her body inside. “I can’t believe it.” She covered her right cheek as it turned red. “I don’t know what to say. The last people to see me, well, all I can say it didn’t go so well.”

Moris walked up and put his hand on her leg. “Hey, my friend. Your size is just sweet. I honestly would kill to be your size.” He picked up a cup of beer. “There would be so much I could do. Like, teach my ex a lesson.” He sighed. “Won’t let me see my kids will you. Well, if I was fifty feet tall, we will see about that.” Heather pressed her head against the ceiling, a bit uncomfortable with the change in tone. “Anyways. We have yet to ask you your name, my giantess friend.”

“Umm, Heather.”

Moris smiled. “Heather. It dances off the tongue.” He turned around. “Everyone welcome Heather to the party.” The room erupted into cheer once again.

“So, umm, what kind of party is this?”

Heather’s eyes widened as she felt someone climbing on her arms. As she looked down, she saw Hope climbing up to her face. “Isn’t it obvious? It’s Christmas in July?”

Moris snorted. “More like we are showing how we feel about the holiday in general. You see, Christmas is a growing monster that seeks to consume all holidays in its wake. This party is to show just how foolish the holiday has become.”

Heather tried her best to scratch at her head, raising the ceiling in the process. “So, you are celebrating Christmas now to what?”

Hope laughed. “To. . .” She scratched at her head. “What were we supposed to do again?”
