Cassie snatched the flyer off of the board. “Jesse, do you see this?”
Jesse tapped away on her phone. “Yes, yes, very cool.”
Cassie narrowed her blue eyes and turned her head. “You are not even paying attention.”
Jesse slowly nodded her sunburnt head. “Yes, I am. You have a piece of paper in your hands. Now if you don’t mind. . .” Her amber eyes widened. “Oh, my god. I just won a free trip to California!”
Cassie hit her friend on the back of her head. “You dolt. How many times do I have to tell you.” She snatched the phone out of Jesse’s hand. “That is a scam trying to take your money out from under you.”
Jesse crossed her arms. “But one of these days, it is going to be true, and when it is, you are going to be so upset when I don’t invite you.”
“Sure I am.” She waved the flyer about. “Now, can we talk about this without you trying to throw your life away?”
Jesse sighed. “Fine, fine. Just tell me what is on that stupid thing so I can get back to surfing the web already.”
Cassie rolled her eyes and looked at the parchment in her hands. “You will change your tune when I read to you what is on this. Attention our young hard, working college attendees. Are you looking to pay off those pesky student loans? Or are you just looking for a break from those pesky studies? Well, today, we have a gift for you. Come on down to South Jersey Street and look for the glowing sign and see what fate has in store. Will you win big? Will you earn a new future for yourself? Come and find out.”
Jesse shrugged. “What exactly is this?”
Cassie threw the flyer to the side. “It’s our chance to improve our lives here. Win some big cash, or just get out of this crap college altogether. Maybe go someplace better, maybe earn enough to retire now. Who knows.” She grabbed her friend by the shoulders. “It is the chance of a lifetime here. Let us seize it already.”
“Ok, ok. Calm down.” Jesse sighed. “I guess we could go and see just what it is we could earn at this place. Besides, some extra cash would be nice and all.”
“That’s the spirit.”
Jesse slid her hands into her pockets. “So, umm, when is this thing?”
“I don’t know.” She turned around. “Hey, where did the flyer go?” Cassie watched as a young man walked off with the piece of paper. “Hey, sir. That is mine.” He grunted as he walked down the hallway, his shoes scrapping against the checked tiled floor. “Jerk just stole our flyer.”
Jesse laughed. “You did throw it away.”
Cassie crossed her arms and snorted. “That still isn’t an excuse for people to be so rude.
It should be common courtesy to give such things back when people ask for them. Don’t’ they know how to be nice? Humph.” Cassie turned her attention toward her friend. “Well, what do you say we take the rest of the day off and figure out about this event?”
“Huh?”
Cassie slipped her hand around Jesse’s back. “We have the possibility of winning big here. Isn’t that the perfect risk to take for skipping the last few classes of the day?”
Jesse looked at the rugged tile below her. “I. . . umm, guess.”
Cassie slapped her friend on the back of her jacket. “That is the spirit. Let’s go then on a fun and exciting adventure.” She pointed her finger down the hallway.
Let’s hurry to South Jersey Street.” A cold blast of air greeted her as she rushed down the hallway and opened the door. “Ughhh.” Cassie shivered and shut the metal doorway. “Maybe we should go and find our coats first?”
Jesse sighed. “Of course, we should. It is below freezing outside.” She turned around and walked in the opposite direction down the hallway.

A short time later, the two young ladies hugged themselves as they exited the college. “Ok, now we are off.” Cassie smiled as the cold wind slammed against her face. “Let us hurry to our destination.”
Jesse slid her hands into her coat pockets and shivered. “I am just glad this place is only a block or two away. My car is at home.”
Cassie nodded her head. “Same. I have been trying to save gas, so I took the bus the last few weeks.”
Jesse laughed. “My excuse is I just live a block away from the campus. You are just—
“Oh, look. It is starting to snow. Isn’t it pretty?”
Jesse rolled her eyes as she looked upward. “Sure, it is. But you didn’t have to cut me off like that.” She sneered at Cassie. “Are you ashamed of taking the bus?”
Cassie waved her hands. “No, no. I just. . . umm. I just wish the gas wasn’t so expensive, and it wasn’t so annoying to brush off my car when the snow tried to bury it is all. And I wish people didn’t tell me to suck it up. It is just stupid is all.”
“Oh.” They stopped at an intersection covered in ice. A blue Ford truck slowly slid into the center of the intersection as they tried to stop, but instead ran the red light when the driver realized they would be stranded in the middle of the road. “Some people can be a bit crazy, I guess.”
The light changed, and the two young ladies crossed the street. “It’s fine, Jesse. I shouldn’t feel that bad. I mean, you are my best friend. It is just a bit of a sore spot.” Jesse smiled. “Now then. . . “They turned the corner onto South Jersey Street. “Let’s find this glowing sign, shall we?”
Jesse pointed across the ice-covered street. “I think that is what we are looking for.
Don’t you?”
Cassie’s eyes widened at a gigantic gold sign with blinking blue and white lights. “Welcome Wheel of Change Contestants. Spin the Wheel for Prizes and to see where your Fate Lies. Come One, Come All!”
Cassie laughed. “Wheel of Change? Sounds like some weird gimmicky program on television.”
Jessie clasped her pink-gloved hands together. “That sounds perfect. I love those game shows. Think we could get on television? You said we could win something, right?” She grabbed Cassie’s arm. “Let’s go and find out.”
“Wait, Jesse. Slow down. This road is really. . .” Cassie’s left foot flew out from under her, and she fell into her friend. “Slippery!”
“Owww!” Jesse fell onto her elbows as she slid across the icy pavement. “Shit!” She shifted onto her side and came to a halt on the sidewalk. “That was a big mistake. Phew.” Her eyes widened as she watched Cassie come sliding into her. “Oh no, no, no!”
The two girls collided and slid into the entrance of the strange building, bright yellow light blinding them. “Ughhh, my back!”
“Your back?” Cassie moaned. “I think I broke my front here. And the front is much more important.
“Are you two here for the contest?” Both Jesse and Cassie looked up to see a young bald man in a suit staring down at them. “If not, I would ask you two to leave. We are on a tight schedule and have no time for random rif raf off the street.”
Cassie jumped to her feet, her left heel pressing against Jesse’s thigh. “We are here for this contest of yours.”
“Owww. You are stepping on my hip!”
Cassie gulped. “Oh, I’m sorry.” She looked down and moved her foot off of her friend. “There, does that feel better?”
Jesse crossed her arms as she sat up. “I guess. Just next time, look where you are stepping, ok.” She made her way to her feet. “I am not a rug or doormat for you to walk all over.”
The young man laughed. “Why, you two will be perfect for our contest.” He ran his gnarled fingers along their shoulders. “Just perfect. So come along. The contest will be starting soon.”
Cassie waved her hands in front of her face. “Wait, you don’t even want to interview us?”
Jesse put her hands on her hips. “Or tell us what this contest is about?”
Cassie nodded her head as she tried to take off her gloves. “Ya. And tell us your name, mister. We are not going out there until you explain some basic stuff to us.”
The man in the suit sighed. “Ok, ok.” He put his hands on his hips. “Besides, I think you two need some time to get out of those garments.” He took a deep breath. “My name is Randolph.”
They both snicked. “Randolph?” Cassie held her right hand over her mouth as she used the other to unbutton her jacket. “Nice name.”
Randolph tapped his fingers on his side. “I don’t see what is so funny. Now, if you don’t mind, we have a schedule to keep.” He tossed them flashy jumpsuits. “Put these on and head out into the main room, please.”
Cassie examined the blue jumpsuit in her hands. “You want us to wear these?”
Randolph turned around. “Yes. Our contestants are to wear them or not participate. So, get to it. You have fifteen minutes.” He pushed a golden door open and exited the room.
Jesse held up her yellow jumpsuit. “I don’t know if I can fit into this thing.”
“Well, we have to try. It’s for a better future, right?”
Jesse gulped. “Ya, I guess so. Or, at the very least, some quick and easy cash.”
***
Cassie emerged from the changing room, her feet squeaking on the polished floor. “Ugh, this outfit is skintight.” She turned so she could see her backside. “I did not know my ass was that big. Now I hope we are not going to be televised.” She gulped as she ran her fingers along the blue latex covering her rear end. “I really don’t want everyone in the country to see my giant ass.”
“What are you talking about?” Jesse danced out into the room. “This is awesome.” She spun about before coming to a halt in front of Jesse, her red hair falling in front of her face. “Come on and perk up, Cassie. You were the one who wanted to come out here in the first place.”
“I know, but. . .” Cassie crossed her squeaky arms. “This all just seems weird.”
“Hey, that is what game shows are supposed to be. Weird.” Jesse smiled. “You will get used to it. Come on. Relax and have some fun.”
Cassie nodded her head. “You are right. Let’s have some fun and win some prizes.”
Jesse gave her friend a thumbs up. “That’s the spirit. Now let’s go and follow Randolph through that golden door already. Win our fate and all that jazz.” She danced off and right through the golden door.
Cassie took a deep breath. “Ok. You can do this.” She followed her friend and slipped through the doorway before the door could come to a close. Cassie had to shield her eyes as blinding lights greeted her. “Wow.” They walked into the center of a massive stadium and cheering crowds. In the center was a gigantic screen with a strange-looking wheel. And below that stood Randolph in this fancy-looking suit as he tapped away on his microphone.
As Cassie and Jesse approached the center of the stage, Randolph took a deep breath and addressed the crowd. “If everyone would be quiet, we can get started.” The cheers died down. “Thank you, and welcome to another exciting round of Wheel of Change. You know what you are here for, and you know you love it.” He walked over and threw his arms around Cassie as she stepped onto the stage. “Today, we have two new contestants looking to win fortune in our event here. Do you think they have what it takes to win on the Wheel of Change?”
Cheers went up from the crowd. “Of course, it will be challenging. Think of the changes and alterations these two fine young ladies will have to endure. But the further they go, the more they will earn.”
Jesse looked at Cassie. “Umm, what in the world is he talking about?”
She shrugged her shoulders. “I have no idea.”
Randolph pointed at the two ladies. “Well, this is how the game works. You get cash for each time you spin the wheel, and each round, the amount is doubled.”
Cassie smiled. “That sounds nice.” She rubbed her hands together. “I feel my student loans vanishing already.”
Jesse tapped her foot on the ground. “It can’t be that easy. We are not on some televised game show just to win free money. What is the catch here?”
“I am glad you asked. The wheel does not tell you how much you will get but what kind of change you will go through. The more changes you endure, the more money you make. It is that simple.” He smiled. “So, are you two ready to spin the Wheel of Change?”
The two ladies gulped. “This isn’t exactly what I was expecting,” Cassie said.
“Ya.” Jesse nodded her head as she agreed with Cassie. “Our body changing? What kind of nonsense is this?” She looked at her friend. “But if we are going to win the cash?”
Cassie nodded her head. “Ya. How bad can it be?” She took a step forward. “Ok, I am ready. I will go first.”
Randolph smiled. “Ok, that is what I like to hear.” He turned around. “We have our first contest.” The crowd cheered as Randolph turned back around. “Ok, here is the deal. You will both share your cash prize for how many spins you can endure. But the spinner will be the one taking the effects of the roll. Got it?”
Cassie nodded. “Yup.”
“Good. This first roll will net you two one thousand dollars. So, let’s get it going.” He stepped to the side. “Just hit the button to get things rolling.”
Cassie walked up to the button on the center of the platform and gulped. “Ok, here goes nothing.” She pressed the glowing blue light, causing an ear-piercing sound to fill the stadium and the wheel on the monitor to start spinning.
“Well, let’s see what fate has in store for you, shall we?”
Round and round, the wheel went. Cassie gripped her arms as she watched the spinner slowly slow down. “Come on, give me something good.” She closed her eyes. “Please give me something good.”
Ding!
She opened her eyes to see that the wheel had come to a stop on shrinking. “What does that. . .”
Randolph smiled. “Well, well, you all know what time it is.” The crowd cheered as he grabbed Jesse’s arm and pulled her off stage.
“Hey, what are you doing?”
“You don’t want to shrink with her now, do you?”
Cassie looked back and forth as she scratched at her elbow. “Umm, what is going to happen here?” She gulped as she felt a strange sensation fill her body. “Hello?” Cassie rubbed her head. “I feel very woozy here. Ughh.” The stage below her began to glow. “Ohhh, what is going on?”
She looked around as her surroundings seemed to increase in size. “Ooh.”
Cassie shook her head. “Am I imagining this?” Her jumpsuit started to feel loose on her body. “How is everything becoming so big?” The crowd cheered as she began to stumble. “No. I really am shrinking. Ughh.” She moaned. “But how is this. . .” The world vanished as she was swallowed up by her jumpsuit. “Ahhhh!” She fell onto her butt as she continued to shrink, her outfit consuming her. “Help. Get me out of here.” She trashed at the sides of the jumpsuit as it became bigger and bigger. “Nooo!”
Suddenly the shrinking stopped, and Cassie took a deep breath. “What happened.” She looked around at the walls around her. “How do I get out?” She crawled around, looking for an exit. “My shirt sleeve should be around here somewhere.” She suddenly emerged into a gigantic room filled with giants. “Uhhh.” She gulped as a mountain of a man ran over to her.
“Will you look at that? She really shrank, didn’t see.” Randolph picked her up. “Give Cassie a hand, will you all?” The crowd went nuts.
“Can I have some clothing?”
He lowered his voice. “After the show is over. Now please get off stage so the other lady can take her turn.”
Cassie rolled her eyes and ran for the edge of the stage. She gulped as Jesse stepped over her. “Hey, watch it.”
“Ohh, sorry.” Jesse giggled. “I didn’t see you down here.”
“Hmph. Likely story.”
Randolph slid his hand around Jesse’s back. “So, are you ready, my fine young lady?”
She nodded her head. “Yes.”
“Ok then. This time you will be earning three thousand dollars.” Jesse rubbed her hands together. “So, spin away.”
Without hesitation, she slammed her hand down onto the button and started the wheel. As Randolph made his way off the stage, Jesse jumped up and down. “Come on. Show me that no transformation space.” She shook her hand. “Come on, baby. I want some free money here.”
The wheel slowly came to a stop on the word blueberry, causing everyone to stand up and cheer. Jesse blinked her eyes and turned at Randolph. “What does that mean?”
Randolph only laughed. “You are about to find out.”
The floor turned blue and started to glow. Jesse looked around and scratched at her hips.
“Umm, what is going on?” She started to sweat. “I feel so warm.” The tip of her nose turned blue. “Ohh my.” She took deep breaths as her face turned blue. “Ohhh.” She put her hands on her knees. “Why do I feel this growing pressure inside of me?” Gurrggggllleggle. She rubbed her stomach. “Ohhhh.” She held her blue hands in front of her face. “What is happening to me?”
Gurrggglllege. She closed her eyes as her yellow jumpsuit began to turn blue. “Ohh, this pressure.” She rubbed her belly as it started to swell. “I feel so full.” Her ass suddenly expanded outward, the sudden movement causing her to fall onto her round chest. “Ouff.”
She bounced up and down as she continued to swell, her legs vanishing into her body. “This is absurd.” Jesse tried to push herself up, but she was just too heavy. “I didn’t think blueberry meant this. Whoh.” Her rounding body pushed her away from the ground. “Help.” She gulped as she felt her limbs sink into her body as she grew bigger and bigger. “I feel so juicy.” Blue jets of juice shot out of her nipples. “Ughh, why do I have to be so full?”
Finally, the growth came to a stop, and Randolph came up onto the stage. “Give a big round of applause for Jesse, everyone.” He spun her around. “She really put out for the cash, am I right?” He laughed. “Ok, so do you two want to go again?” He held Cassie in his right hand.
Cassie shook her head. “No way. I don’t want to risk this getting any worse.”
“I have to agree with her.” Grurrglgle. “I feel so full I don’t want to risk a blueberry disaster.”
Randolph laughed. “But if you stop now, how will you two get back to normal?”
