Gwen threw her bag onto the burning hot sand. “I can’t believe we made it, Oliver.
We finally made a conscious effort to drive out here and make it.” She spun around. “This is going to be so fun. Oww. Hot, hot, hot.” She danced around as she tried to get the blanket out of the bag. “Fucking sand. Who the hell made it so damn hot?”
Oliver smiled as he walked over. “I told you to wear your shoes.”
Gwen let out a sigh of relief as she sat down on the beach blanket. “Ahhh, that is much better.” She looked at her boyfriend. “And I told you I would be fine. These sandals were more than enough to get me across the beach now, weren’t they.” She rubbed her sunburnt toes. “What is a little burning sand after all?”
He sat down next to her. “I will never understand why you don’t want to do things the easy way.”
She brushed her long blonde hair. “Where is the fun in that? If I was just looking to do things the easy way, would we have taken all those back roads to come here? Huh?”
He rolled his blue eyes. “Don’t remind me. All of those bumps. I thought the rear bumper was going to bounce off of my vehicle.” He shivered. “We are not going home that way.”
“Why not?”
“Because if we do, I don’t think I will ever stop shaking, that is why.”
Gwen laughed. “Oh, come on. It isn’t all bad. There was that ice cream place.” She looked up at the blue sky. “Ahhh, I wonder what the twist on the competition will be this year.”
“What? What do you mean twist?”
She smiled and looked at Oliver. “I mean, this isn’t your standard surfing competition.
Every year they put some strange twist to make things interesting, like last year people had to surf while they were slowly shrinking on their boards.”
Oliver’s eyes widened. “Wait, what? People were shrinking when trying to surf?”
Gwen jumped to her knees. “I know, right? Isn’t it cool? I want to try my hand this year and see what happens. Be the queen of the sea.” She squealed. “It will be so exciting.”
“But you don’t know what could happen to you. Isn’t that a little worrying?”
She laughed. “No. Why?”
“I. . .”
A loud booming voice filled the air. “Will all those interested in this year’s surfing competition please make their way down to the pier? We can explain the rules there. Thank you.”
Gwen jumped to her feet. “Oh boy, it’s starting. Find a good spot and watch me win.” She waved as she rushed down the beach. “I will see you from the winners’ circle, honey.”
Oliver narrowed his eyes. “I don’t feel good about this. You really should rethink this.”
“Sorry, can’t hear you. What was that?” She laughed. “I will win, don’t worry.”
He shook his head. “That isn’t what I am worried about.”
Gwen rushed down the beach towards the pier. “I have to hurry and register.
Hopefully, they don’t have limited entry. Oww, oww, oww.” She clenched her hands as she hurried across the burning hot sand. “Maybe he was right, and I should have worn some damn beach shoes. Owwww!”
She dashed into the growing crowd as she reached the pier. “Owww.” Gwen took a deep breath. “Finally.”
“Hey! No cuts.” A young lady with short red hair pushed Gwen back. “You have to wait to register like the rest of us.”
Gwen sighed. “Sorry. I just got here. I didn’t even know there was a line.”
The young lady snorted. “Sure, you did.” She narrowed her green eyes. “I am watching you.” She turned around.
Gwen looked ahead. “At least it isn’t a long line.” She looked up at the sky. “I do wish we had some shade, though.” She gulped as a bead of sweat dripped down her back. “Some nice, sweet shade.” The minutes dragged on as Gwen waited to move up the line, the sun beating down from above. Slowly but surely, she made her way to the front, where a middle-aged man was waiting, lemonade in hand, as he sat at his desk.
“Hello. State your name, please.” He didn’t bother to look up at Gwen as he tapped away at his phone. “Hurry up, please. It is hot out.”
Gwen narrowed her eyes. “Yes, it is.” She slammed her hands down on the table. “My name is Gwen Terryson. I am here to surf!”
The man gulped as he tried not to spill his drink. “Hey! Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to get this thing refilled?” He looked up at her. “Gwen, was it? Ok.”
He handed her a blue piece of gum. “Here, eat this, and then take a surfboard.”
Gwen looked down at the gum. “Why? What is this for?”
He sighed. “It is part of this year’s twist. The gum will enhance you as you surf ok. Do you want to try for the grand prize or not?”
Her eyes drifted off into space as she imagined herself holding the winner’s trophy. “Ohhh, I can see it now. It is amazing.”
He tapped his fingers on the side of the lemonade glass. “Well, then eat the damn gum and get a surfboard already.” He turned her around and pushed her down the pier. “And stop holding up the line.”
“Wait. What do I do once I get on the surfboard? How do I win?”
“They will tell you once everyone is out at sea. I am just here to register people. Now go!”
Gwen sighed. “Such a nice man.” She hurried down the pier and examined the surfboards. “Hmm. I want something that is exotic. Something that will pop.” Her green eyes widened. “This. I am taking this.” She grabbed the board covered with blueberries.
“Everyone will notice me on this thing.” She smiled as she hurried down to the beach, tossing the piece of gum into her mouth. “This is going to be so fun. I can’t wait to get started.” She shivered. “Mhhhmmm. This gum is very juicy. I am going to have to tell that man I am sorry. I just love blueberries to death, and he gave me blueberry gum.”
She walked to the water’s edge, the cool waves tickling her toes. “Ok, what now?” She looked at the others standing in the surf as she sucked on the blueberry-flavored gum.
“Do we just wait here?”
The red-haired lady from before snorted at Gwen. “They are going to talk to us on the loudspeaker in a second. Can’t you be patient for once in your life, line cutter?”
“Can’t you just be nice?” Gwen sighed. “Shesh.” She closed her eyes as a strange tingling sensation spread throughout her body. “Hey, is it just me, or am I starting to feel a bit odd?” She took a deep breath. “Like, I swear my breasts are feeling a tad bit heavier than normal. I am not going crazy, am I?”
The loudspeaker filled the air once more. “Attention surfers. Thank you all for the wonderful turnout this year. We have almost more than double the number of participants than last year. It warms our hearts that people are willing to participate in these crazy events. But without any further ado, let us discuss the rules. It is simple. Stay on your board for as long as you can. Now swim out there and surf. Be the last one standing. Oh, and if, for any reason, you spit out your gum, you will be disqualified. Trust us, we will know the cheaters.”
Gwen waded out into the water, setting her surfboard beside her. “Time to win this competition. Just staying on the board, the longest? Pffft.” She rolled her eyes. “Please.
How can that be difficult? I could just go to sleep on this thing and win easy.” Gurrrggle.
She rubbed her belly as she pulled herself onto the board. “Ugh, that was strange.” She let out a blueberry-flavored burp. “Oops, excuse me.” Gwen giggled.
The strange tingling sensation intensified as she paddled into the ocean. “Ughh, if this doesn’t go away, it will make for one unpleasant time on the sea.” She groaned. “I hope I don’t. . .” Her eyes widened as she realized her hands had turned blue. “Holy crap!”
Gwen held her right hand in front of her face as she sat on her surfboard. “I didn’t accidentally hit a paint bottle or something, did I?” She looked down at her chest and gasped as her body slowly turned blue. “No, I didn’t. Holy crap!” As she looked around, she realized everyone was slowly turning blue. “How is this happening? It can’t be the twist, can it?” She scratched at her blue belly. “I am feeling kind of full.” Gurrgle. “No, very full. Maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe I should spit this damn blueberry-flavored gum out before it’s too late.”
A wave struck her board, and she had to flatten herself against it to stay on. “Ughh.”
Gulp. Gwen’s eyes widened. “Oh no. I swallowed the gum!” Her belly vibrated like someone had turned on a washing machine. “Ohh fuck what is going on?”
Suddenly her hips swelled outward, causing Gwen to rock back and forth on the surfboard. “Whoh.” She moaned as she felt a strange liquid slosh around in her body. “That was intense. I feel like I am filling up.” She took a deep breath as her boobs pressed against the board, her nipples slowly hardening as they grew. “Ohh fuck. I think I am going to find out what it is like to be a blueberry. Ohhhhh.”
Her red swimsuit slowly tightened around her swelling body. “Ohh, god.” Gwen scratched at the thin strands as the upper part of her outfit squeezed her boobs. “If I knew this was going to happen, I might have just taken this damn thing off.” Her eyes went wide as the lower part of her swimsuit slipped between her swelling blue ass cheeks. “Ohh fuck.” She reached back and tried to pull her outfit free. “Ohhh, god. Ohhhhh!”
As her hand rubbed against her swelling blue ass, juice dripped out from her blue nipples. “Get it together, Gwen. Ohh, god, I feel soo juicy!” She moaned. “Why do I feel so juicy? Whoh!” Blort. As her belly pushed her upward, Gwen almost fell off her surfboard. She fought to stay on, both wanting to win the competition and just unwilling to fall into the ocean with her new blueberry body.
“That was a close one.” She took a deep breath. “I wonder how the others are doing?” Gwen turned her head and smiled as she realized quite a few people had already fallen from their boards, spotting multiple big blue balls floating in the ocean. “Serves them right. I am going to win.” Blort. “Even if I have to swell into the biggest blueberry to do it. Ohhh.”
She felt the cold touch of the ocean as her body swelled even more, her hips growing up into her torso. “Oh my. I am really getting big now. Ughh.” She moaned as the board slipped in between her massive blue boobs. “Ohh god. How can my boobs get any bigger? Shesh.”
The voice on the loudspeaker filled the air once more. “We are down to our last two blueberries, I mean contestants people. Gwen and Andria. Who will outlast the other?”
Gwen squealed. “I have almost won!” She moaned as her swimsuit snapped off, juice shooting out of her nipples and into the water. “Ohh fuck!” Gurrgle. She wobbled around on the surfboard. “No. Don’t fall now. You almost have it.” She gulped as the board began to sink into the water under her increasing weight. “No. Stop swelling. Stop it, I say.” She gulped.
“I want to win. I want to. . .” Blort. “Ohh fuck.”
“We have a winner.” Gwen’s surfboard shot out from under her like a rocket. “Three cheers for Andria, this year's Surfs Up winner.”
Gwen snorted as she bounced up and down in the water. “Damnit all. That should have been me.”
The voice over the loudspeaker continued talking. “Now, please enjoy music from the local band while we bring in our blueberry ladies. We have more games to play before the day is over.”
Gwen smiled. “Maybe I can still win something.” Gurrgle. “Ohhh fuck, my body feels so weird, though.” Gurrgle. Gwen moaned. “Ughhh, I feel even weirder now that my body is in the water. Ughhh.” Her entire body began to vibrate. “I hope they come to get me soon.” Juice began to seep from her nipples. “I don’t think I was supposed to fall into the water.”
