Alice rushed to the door as the doorbell rang. “One moment, please.” She ran her comb through her long dark wet hair one last time before she opened the front door. “Hello?” She looked back and forth, but no one was there, only the early morning mist. “That is strange.” She pulled her towel up over her chest. “I hope it isn’t those kids down the street pulling a prank again.” She looked down at the ground. “Huh?”

Sitting on the stone step in front of her door was a strange package. “I don’t remember ordering anything.” Alice shivered as the early morning mist slowly crept through her door. “Ughh, why is it so cold out. It is making my nipples hard.” She sighed and grabbed the package. “I am not going to stand out here half-naked.” She slammed the door and walked into the house.

“Hmm, does this thing have a return address?” She held the package over her head. “Whoever sent this thing to my house by mistake is going to get it sent back to them. Huh?”

She noticed a little tag poking out of the bottom. “What is this?”

Alice set the box down and read the note as she tried to keep the towel covering her body. “Dear Alice Callinswood. I hope you are having a wonderful day. My name is Devin, and I need your help. I am looking to make the world’s next hit game, but I need some beta testers. And well, this is where you come in.”

“Inside, you will find a free game console and game. Our game is a bit. . . on the naughty side of things. So, if you don’t like the more dirty side of life, I would suggest throwing this box into the nearest dumpster. But if you do enjoy a kinky night out well, then please continue reading on, my friend.”

Alice blinked her blue eyes. “Well, this is already a bit weird. But I will bite. I am no stranger to a little kink.”

“My vision is to bring gaming into a new ear. The gaming system inside you will find to be the most realistic you have ever seen. It will completely change your surroundings. In fact, you might say you will be in a completely different world. I do have to warn you, though, that once you start this beta test, there is no stopping until you finish.”

Alice shrugged. “I don’t mind doing an all-nighter. I do get paid, right?”

“If you are worried about your end of the deal, well, for those who finish the test, we will be hosting not only a celebration, but you will receive one million dollars.” Her eyes widened. “So, are you up to earning the cash? Then open the box and delve into the game, my friend. We will hear from you soon.”

Alice tossed the note to the side. “One million bucks for just testing a game?

That is insane. They do know I have never really played a game in my life, right?” She laughed.

“Suckers.” She yanked at the tape. “Ugh, what is holding this thing together? Glue. Come on already. Come apart.” She moaned, her towel falling to the ground. “You stupid thing I said. . .”

Alice fell to the ground as she ripped the box open, and a bright light erupted from within, enveloping everything in sight. “Ughhhh. What the hell is this.” She closed her eyes, trying to avoid going blind. “I am going to call a lawyer for this prank. You hear me!”

As the light subsided, she rubbed her eyes and looked around. “Ugh, I feel like I was hit by a truck.” Alice slowly sat up, blinking her eyes. “Where am I?” Her eyes widened as she realized she was in the middle of a massive forest, with gigantic autumn pines with golden leaves surrounding her. “How in the world did I get out here?” She shivered. “And why is it cold? The air is making my nipples hard. I think I made a mistake. Where is that strange box?”

Alice looked around, but to her shock, she couldn’t find the box that she had been holding just a few moments ago. “What?” She twisted about. “It couldn’t of gotten far. And where is my towel? I know for a fact that it was at my feet.” She covered her breasts. “I can’t be in the middle of the forest completely naked.”

She gulped as she heard a strange bird sound off in the distance. “What am I supposed to do now? The person who sent me that package tricked me. If I find him, I am going to. . .”

Alice tensed up as the sound of a twig snapping filled the air. She gulped and slowly turned around. “Hello. . .?” The pine nettles moved as a subtle breeze moved through the forest. Alice took a few steps back and lowered her voice. “Ok, I think I should focus on getting out of here before anything—”

As she turned around, a tiny figure jumped out of the underbrush. “Hold it.”

He waved a small dagger at her. “I want your gold. Now.”

Alice blinked her eyes, trying to comprehend what was going on. “What is going on? Am I being robbed by some kid with a beard?”

The small figure tightened his grip around the blade. “Kid? I will tell you I am thirty-five years old.”

“What? But you are. . .”

“What, you have a problem with my size? Huh? Huh?”

Alice gulped. “No, I didn’t. . .”

He took a few steps closer. “You know I could not only rob you, but I could shrink you as well.”

Her eyes widened. “What!?”

The small man took a deep breath. “I am getting off track here. I am trying to take your gold. So, stop confusing me!”

Alice shrugged. “But how can I have gold? I am naked.”

He snorted. “You could have it stashed nearby. You could have just taken off you’re clothing to trick me.” He tapped the hilt of his dagger on his forehead. “Do you think I was born yesterday?”

Alice sighed. “Apparently.”
