Bursting out of the Bank extended preview

Bursting out of the Bank.

Alexa sighed as she waited in line. “Come on.” She tapped her fingers, irritated that she had to wait to get to her safety deposit box. She needed to get some extra cash to help her grandmother, who needed some surgery. Time was of the essence. If she didn’t get that money soon, well. . . Alexa didn’t want to think about it.

As the line finally moved, Alexa walked up to the teller. “Finally.”

“Can I help you?” He didn’t look up from his phone.

“Yes. I need to get at my safety deposit box. It’s urgent!”

The man raised an eyebrow as he took a moment to look at her. “Ma’am, please calm down. Now, hand me your ID.” She sighed and did as she was told. “Hmm. Give me a moment. I need to look you up in our system. It seems you haven’t been here in quite a while.”

“Ya, well, I don’t really have much of a reason to come here that often. You know, outside of emergencies.” She tapped her fingers on the desk. “So please hurry up and let me get at my deposit box. I really need—”

That man held up his hand. “In all due time. Ahh Alexa Fetherton. Hmm, you haven’t been in here since you opened your account with us. Why are you here?”

She snorted. “So, I can get my money out of my safety deposit box. My grandmother needs help.”

“Okay. Okay. I just needed to make sure there wasn’t anything serious going on.”

“Anything serious!”

He sighed. “Bank protocol ma’am. Please don’t take it seriously.” He handed her a small card. “Use this to get into the vault. And here is your key. Return them when you are done. Have a nice day.”

She took them while giving the man an evil eye. “I would if you hadn’t wasted my time.” She snorted as she made her way towards the vault. “Something serious could have happened to my grandmother due to having that painful chat!” She walked up to the vault door, using her keycard to unlock it. “I don’t have time to waste. I need that money.” She tapped her foot as she waited for the door to slowly inch open. “Come on! Open! What are you waiting for?” She took a deep breath as everyone looked at her. “What are you all staring at?”

Once the vault door was open wide enough that she could squeeze through, Alexa wormed her way into the vault. “Okay, where is my deposit box?” She looked around the room. “I. . . I don’t remember. Maybe it says it on this key?” She gulped as she realized there was no number on the key. “Great. What am I supposed to do?” The vault door closed behind her. “I don’t have time to figure this out. “I have to get that money. I. . .”

She took a deep breath. “It’s okay. There are only. . .” She did a quick estimation. “About a hundred boxes in here. I can go through and use my key on each one until I find the right one. Easy.” She sighed. “If annoying.” Alexa approached the nearest wall and pulled out the box on the uppermost right. “Okay. Just work top to bottom, up and around.

You got this.” She put the key into the hole only for an alarm to go off.”

“Warning. Attempt to steal from a deposit box that isn’t your own will result in security apprehension.”

“Huh?” Alexa gulped. “But how the hell am I. . .” She gripped her hands into fists as she set the box back. “I will explain it to the security person if they come that I just forgot. I am not trying to rob the place. Besides, what the hell would they even do to me?” She pulled out another box and tried her key. “Fine me? I am okay with losing a little money.”

The alarm went off again, but this time, nothing happened.

No voice, no nothing. Alexa shrugged as she went about checking the boxes, not noticing the blue mist descending from the ceiling. “My box has to be here somewhere.”

Alexa coughed as the mist covered the room. “Huh? What is going on?” She pulled out another box. “Ugh, I need to focus. I. . .” She moaned, her boobs feeling a bit tight against her shirt. “Why won’t this fucking key—”

She gasped and dropped the deposit box to the floor as she realized her hands were blue. “Huh?” She looked around the room. “Hello? Is anyone there?” She coughed again as she walked towards the vault door. “I need some help in here.” Alexa took a deep breath, her pants now feeling tight against her skin. “I know you all can hear me. There seems to be some kind of a gas leak!” She slammed her hand against the vault door. “Hello! Hey! Anybody!”

Alexa moaned as her hips widened. “Ahhh!”  Gurrglle. She gasped as she had to widen her stance. “Just what is going on?”

“Hello, intruder.”

“Intruder?”

“Please enjoy your time as you slowly turn into a blueberry. We will be with you shortly to retrieve you and give you the punishment you deserve for trying to steal from our bank. Good day.”
