patreon

Could people please make sure they have been over charged by Patreon before claiming money back. If you have set a monthly limit you will not have additional money taken from your account, even though it may seem that you have been charged this amount by Patreon. As it stands (after refunds) I've made $85 from last months pledges which stood at about $175, so clearly some mistakes have been made regarding refunds claimed. If you are sure you have had the money taken from your account then please let me know and I'll sort you out. If I've already re-embursed you and you discover that you have not in fact been over charged, then please send me the difference via paypal. It seems we're still sorting out the kinks (hopefully next month will run smoother). Thanks a lot :) Pete

Ah, I see. Having worked things out with some other people that got charged incorrectly, it seems if you show Patreon the issue (what was taken from you via paypal vs what Patreon says you payed that month) they'll reimburse you. That worked for some of the other guys anyway. I did start out giving refunds myself, but it turned out Patreon had charged people WAY too much but only passed on some of that to me (maybe because I tried to fix the situation while the payment was still being processed). So yeah, Patreon should be able to fix you up if you supply details of the paypal transaction to them. Otherwise let me know and I'll see if I can sort something out. Thanks a lot for your patience and support :)

And now that the statement from the bank has finally arrived (3 monthly) it appears I was wrong. Last two months have been fine but that first one ... bonus for you.

Thanks-I'm relieved that at least some of you have been charged the correct amount. Next month should be better I guess :)

I was contacted by Patreon on 2nd, that my pledge had been processed. The amount charged was the amount pledged so I don't believe that there was a problem with mine. Good luck getting things sorted. Graeme (aka Gthulu).
