Too much Fabi. Sal is making decisions but it seems like she is directing his life. I miss when Sal solo crafted and determined his own path. Outside advise is good but he's bacially just doing whatever she says. He needs more autonomy and to act more like a guild LEADER, not follower

For some reason every time I try and access chapters 1-2 I just get a blank page that tells me how many words are in the chapter but that’s it. Anyone know of a workaround?

I've moved onto Florida now, so I won't be back in Canada for a while. I haven't actually done any sort of official signings, I really don't think I'd be able to fill any sort of room with readers :D

Difference is that Sal told Alex he had to go home to talk to his father about getting the supplies. This is his first time back since then. He hasn't had time to talk to Alex about whatever deal he might have made. Alex should have waited until he met up with Sal. If Sal hadn't mentioned the herbs, then Alex could have called him a charlatan.

Techically this one included Sal on the Credit Floor and Sal getting his first coffee. He made it to the dorm area but not quite to his room. No canteen or dungeon though, though dungeons were talked about. Brian managed to include most of it.

Gallant was high on adrenaline and bloodlust on top of the tower. I'm sure there was alot of honesty that came out in that moment. The last time we saw him was in the back of the transport. The high had worn off and he realized he'd fucked up. We saw tears but to be clear we don't know if they were out of remorse for what he had done or what he had lost. He's either a great actor or an emotional mess inside at the end of book 3.

Nevermind the unexpected changes to the curriculum that meant he couldn't spend the expected time on projects outside his needs. Does come off as a guy who shouldn't be talking to students like that, at the least.

When sal was talking to Sakura about joining the guild, he told her that he could probably get gallant to join. This was before gallant went all battle frenzy during the tower run

My bad then. It was the only paragraph over the two chapters that had any issues so I thought it was just a typo paragraph that slipped through the cracks.

I think Gallant had said he would join if Sal fixed his problem and between Perfect and the elixir I think he found the solution. So it’s just a matter of time before his problem is fixed. That being said not sure what kind of mental state Gallant is in.

Yes but, Alex works with crafters personally why would he expect a first year student to be able to compete a task like this in less than the three or so months after Sal said he couldn’t start until he was finished with the tower

If you're reading in Adobe in liquid mode it can screw with the paragraphs like that sometimes, turn it off and it should be fine

Why? Sal got some stuff on a promise of getting Alex various materials. It's now been several months and Alex hasn't heard pretty much anything about getting those materials. Seems reasonable to be rather frustrated with Sal as a result.

Great to see Sal back at Quest Academy. I really hope he manages to pick up a healing skill now that it's not just him but also his father that needs it. Completely baffles me that he never tried to get one or even tried to upgrade somebody elses

When did Gallant join Sal's guild? Last we saw him was at the end of book 3 after the tower trial and their relationship didn't end at a good note then. The only other mention of him was at the gala when Prestige told Sal that she was helping him because he would be influential in Gallant having a good life based on divinations she had about her son.
