2022-12-23 22:30:44 +0000 UTCYea I can't do anything as its not just the terminal but my entire laptop that freezes and then crashes after 10 minutes or so. Will give the cuda drivers a go, thanks for the input :-)

2022-12-23 21:40:19 +0000 UTCTo install torch I think it needs to download a couple of gigabytes so it might take a while, if the terminal freezes I’ve read some people saying you can just click enter a few times. Not sure if this is a good solution though.When I had some problems installing a1111, I downloaded and installed cuda drivers from NVIDIA, but I don’t remember which error I was getting

2022-12-23 21:07:43 +0000 UTCI use the latest auto1111, also on a laptop rn. Are you getting any errors? Is everything up to date (python, git, drivers)? I haven’t tried it personally but maybe give this installer a try just in case it’s some easy fix: https://github.com/EmpireMediaScience/A1111-Web-UI-Installer
