I made a new female friend who's a martial artist and is preparing for wrestling school. Even though I haven't been training for too long myself, she did ask for advice and what to expect. More or less I said to: listen to your coaches mainly but not strictly, you're probably not going in the ring on your first day, take it slow and really absorb what you learn, tuck that chin on back bumps, and that you get out what you put into training. Is there anything important that I may have missed?? I was trying not to overwhelm her and avoid discouraging her.
