2022-07-12 06:40:08 +0000 UTCBartomeu's extremely poor decision making (or quite simply his greed) has led to Barcelona entering a seriously worrying financial position that has been passed down to Laporta, whose own decisions will probably help the club in the short-term but likely hinder his successor(s) once they realise they've sold off a lot of their profitable assets. And yet despite all this, the club remains one of the most attractive destinations for a lot of players thanks to the decades of success built previously. Buying a bunch of overpriced forwards and paying them high wages is definitely not the way to go though. It's like they simply haven't learnt any lessons. No wonder Perez had them at his fingertips when trying to form the European Super League. Really enjoyed this pod and the only thing I'd nitpick on was that it was a tad bit too short. Looking forward to the remaining European Week pods.
