Planet FPL x Sport Social

Hi Patrons,

We've mentioned previously that we have been looking for sponsorship for the pod, and we're delighted to announce that Planet FPL is now sponsored by the Sport Social Podcast Network.

Sport Social are the largest sport dedicated podcast network in Europe and have partnered with some of the other top FPL content creators - they're really looking to grow within this segment.

For those who love numbers: Sport Social reaches 3.1 million listeners a week. They have 9 radio stations across the UK and 22 million listening hours each week. This partnership will help get our content out to even more FPL and football fans.

They have over 270 sports podcasts in their network and average 6m monthly downloads - they've got some big-name shows in their network, like "Seaman Says" with David Seaman, "The Analyst Inside Cricket", and the official podcasts for Manchester City and Brighton & Hove Albion. It's a partnership that will both help Planet FPL grow organically, and with the right audiences, as well as potential collab opportunities, but also opens the path for partnerships with the right people for the studios as well.

We've agreed an initial trial period for a few months with them to see how it goes, but we are still open to and exploring other options too.

The ads placed on the pod will initially be dynamically driven using data and eventually, you may see James and Suj doing cringe segways with host-read ads, as they get more data about our audience. As always, we have excluded Gambling and Alcohol related ads from being placed. 

Ads will start from Wednesday 1st November and patrons will of course get all content ad-free, which can be done by using your Patreon RSS feed (article below for support if needed).
